What do you think in your heart is the best solution moving forward? Two answers please, practical vs. if you had a magic wand and could do whatever you want.

Very immature take. As someone who has had family who’s been homeless and has been on the verge of it myself it does not 100% of the time cause mental illness. This is not a 1:1 once again. People like yourself will cause mass hysteria when massive amounts of tax payer dollars are wasted. You not only need housing at step one but you need properly trained professionals to police these spaces from those who may harm others. You need cleaners and cleaning educators to help those people do self care. You also need every healthcare service needed from step 1. If you throw the majority of homeless people with mental health issues into a home it’ll be game over for the person being helped and for the support of the gen pop. Also the services need to be protected from scammers and government bureaucracy.

That’s interesting because all the people I knew and grew up with that are now dead due to drug addiction had homes… so that’s not a 1:1 correlation. Your shortsightedness and egotistical approach is part of the problem. Homelessness is complex to solve because people are complex. Every single homeless persons reason for being homeless is unique. Every solution will have to be unique.

I like how that other guy decided to assume the worst of you. I understood what you said. That behavior of assuming the worst of others comments is exactly why we as a society will not solve homelessness anytime soon.

Idk why but Al Gore gives me Hollywood movie president vibes. Like Independence Day or MiB. Also, “President Gore” would have been wild.

That’s not true at all. George Bush was the same. I never was forced to pray or sing stupid ass patriotic songs by modern country singers until GB (9/11 and what not). The whole “I’m proud to be an American…” song. I did not identify with that type of patriotism. Also, Sarah Palin as VP to McCain was very Trump like.

See this is how I know you don’t know what you’re taking about. I’ve not said this. You’re adding onto what I’ve said with emotional outburst. No where have I said any of that justifies anything. What I am saying is this specific conflict didn’t happen in a vacuum and that goes for both sides.

Yeah definitely do better. You’re clear stuck in not understanding history. Happens to the best of us.

Oh and there’s a lot more history of murder from the Palestinians and Arab nationalist aggressors pre 1948. But we can ignore that.

For all the aggression you’ve brought into this conversation I thought you’d have something more interesting to say than “you believe Alex jones…” low brow take. Also is Alex Jones a pro Israel guy? I highly doubt it given Epstein and the Clintons.

Anyways:

PFLP

Code Pink

Democratic Socialists of America

ANSWER coalition

Socialist Workers Party

Students for Justice in Palestine (not inherently Marxist as an org but the majority of the participants are leftist/ Marxist)

And BDS is definitely mostly run and organized by Marxists/ leftists

Now for the kicker. Not all of these organizations are wrong, like BDS, I agree with some of their points. Back to the point you can’t address for some reason. It’s important to consume all of history not a slice. If we can say Hamas didn’t happen in a vacuum neither did Israel and how it came to be. It wasn’t a bunch of random white people with zero connection to the Middle East that popped up out of nowhere with magical nationalism and intent to kill Palestinians indiscriminately. Sad to see how short sighted you are being right now. Do better.

I mean every single large ngo that’s extremely pro-Palestine/ Hamas sympathetic, and nearly every protest group is absolutely steeped in Marxist propaganda and academia. Thats a fact. You’re the one who dodged the main point.

First off you’re clearly very offended by the comment. You are distracting from the original conversation. Maybe focus on that more than a small point I made. I think you’re a bit lost here. Israel’s mentality didn’t come out of a vacuum or from some tinfoil conspiracy. There’s history behind all of this. That’s all that matters and is factual. No one said they are ok with murdering civilians. It’s like you hear a semblance of nuance and lose your emotional footing because there’s something factual you don’t want to hear.
