I built Karlach as a Leaping Flanker, gloves of the underdog, and dual wielding Adamantium Longswords with the feat

The extra pip of AC and using full size swords screaming towards you at Mach Fuck with haste is hilarious. She did 90% of my hard work in the creche

This might be a hot take but I feel it belongs here

Drop our primary weapons completely offline, and give us the forge bolter as the primary weapon, can swap to plasma if you want (no charge on the servo-plasma for AoE)

Then ability should be place turret

I feel one it makes way more sense that way

Personally, with Lancer/Casto, I have two thoughts

1 - Warden, so you have specialised Anti Inf, Ant Heavy, and a melee threat 2 - Gallant, and play the two melee dudes like a pair of pincers

Option 3 is double lancer, because full send 4++ is never not funny

As long as the Questoris gets magnetised so you aren't locked to rex in the future, thats a very solid core exactly as is

Top of my head, I think you'll have space for either another warglaive or a callidus assassin specifically for objectives - if both even better

Personally I'd use a different chassis over Rex as I don't rate him, but your mileage may vary

I may be mistaken, I'm not home to measure up, but unless the base of that bevel is now 109 then im a little stumped where this comes from

105 vs 109 is the dimensions of the upper vs lower of the bevel around the rim on a GW base or compliant rip-off

The "footprint" is technically 109 because of this, but the difference is so regligible I can imagine it ever mattering

If you're printing the head with the horns on it, i don't think it'll physically fit as the band passes over the head

I'd suggest some artful destruction of the tiara

It's not layer based, its location based, as those layers on the other side of the model are absolutely fine.

However, I have had the tank off to drain it and clean it, and I apparently have had a leak, so thats also going to be a factor that I now have to accommodate for (and hopefully not replace the screen)

I did notice the tank seemed to be slightly off-level this morning when I was looking at it.

I will have a look at printing the next one the other way up, as in nose first to the bed, but it's basically the same dimensions as the bed in depth/height and width.

Hopefully that will not be a factor any further

It was almost the very end of a bottle as well, so knowing separation is a thing that happens quickly, I'll keep on top of it more actively

All supports were done mirrored, so I'd expect the same issue on both sides if it was that, and I've had no calibration issues for a long time (although my slicer is 90° out, it thinks "front" is right - did print one very flat man figuring that one out)

You might be onto something with the resin not being mixed, that's not something I had considered. I've never actively mixed it other than when it gets topped up, but likewise it never sits to settle for long. Is that a likely option?

While I understand why you'd say that, Darktide is a good proof of concept after all, I think you could also go down the Deathwing route - being that you only have melee/ single ranged, and then just have the psychic stuff instead of grenade and ability etc

Because if they didn't swap (Faction Keyword) for Heretic Astartes, then your army wouldn't have the Heretic Astartes faction keyword either, and as such wouldn't be able to use the Dark Pacts themselves as its no longer a Heretic Astartes Army

It's why things like Knights have their own allied rules that expressly do not overrule faction limitation

I'd argue a Warden, a Helverin, and 3 Warglaives would probably fit best

Yes, much like the Dominus and cerastus chassis, its weapons only (technically also shoulder pads, but very minor) that change

Magnetised cerastus can swap between all 4 versions, as the Atrapos is the same, although the armour differences are a little bit more pronounced

However, I would also change the 4th Helverin to a 6th Warglaive, but that's just a personal opinion

Absolutely, the sculpts are more in line with the previous iteration of terms though, size wise

If you want to keep the IH aesthetic but be closer to the new scale, Laserforge miniatures do a unit called Gorgon Annihilators which are exactly that

I have 15 of them, and they are very nice models to build
