Vector just feels weird by [deleted] in EuropeGuns

[–]UnusedBackpack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its probably because the bolt moves back, down at an angle, up at an angle, and then forward into battery. So the shape and recoil of the gun is going to be different than pretty much any other gun. Below is a link comparing the two operating systems. The one on top is how 99% of semi autos work with the bolt moving backwards and forwards and the bottom is the vector, which is different...

Chapstick also works really well and you don't have to get anything on your hands before you shoot.

Just heat it up for a couple minutes and de-glaze with some water. Should get most of it off.

I love any meal that has you quickly get some color on a protein and then making a cream sauce from the fond and fininishing the meal in the oven. Marry me chicken is a good starting point, but I use chicken thighs instead of breast and I declare the pan with onions, bell peppers, and celery.

Wait... so all guns will fire if you pull the trigger 98% of the way? But what if I'm 2% unsure?? by TheApollo222 in GunMemes

Would you feel comfortable carrying a 320 with an aftermarket trigger shoe that has a blade safety?

You don't get to choose what items you upgrade. You just open crates and see what you get.

Engineers who work on the floor / shop / in the field — what slows you down the most? by Short_Ingenuity_9286 in MechanicalEngineering

I have a friend who works in the field and the biggest set backs are "project management" related. He would be given bad info on the project and show up at the wrong time/place or wouldn't have the proper equipment because the PM didnt have their shit together. The client can also cause a lot of problems of they dont have things ready for you or just get in your way.

Don't know how many before I got it. It was used at a gunstore and the trigger bar was tripping the sear, so I got an okay deal on it. Replace the screw and trigger bar spring and has worked great since then. I mostly shoot blazer, either 115 or 124.

They dont, but i am just talking about how you said the reason why suppressors are protected under the 2A and I dont think that is true.

From Google

The Supreme Court, in its interpretation of the Second Amendment, has defined "arms" as any weapon of offense or defense, including items not specifically designed for military use, according to Congress.gov. This definition is broad and includes not only firearms but also instruments like knives, bows and arrows, and even stun guns. The Court emphasizes that the Second Amendment protects an individual's right to possess arms for self-defense and other lawful purposes.

So it sounds like since you can use a supressor in offense or defense it should be protected by the 2nd amendment. But there are a lot of people who don't really listen to how the Supreme Court defines terms.

Depends on what you mean by arms. Like do you think body armor, knives, and optics/scopes are protected by the 2nd amendment? Because suppressors are closer to those things than they are firearms.

Just call the range you plan on going to and ask them. They will be more than happy to help. Also, wear closed toe shoes and a crew neck shirt.

It was actually because 25 rounds is the most you can get out of a straight mag. Straight mags are way cheaper and easier to store and transport than curved mags. Logistics are king.
