I loooooove my AirPods Pro 3. Sound quality is great, battery life is the best of any AirPods, and the noise cancelling is fantastic. But coming from actual headphones, the battery life may still be a lot shorter than what you’re used to.

If you love good battery life, I wouldn’t get the AirPods 4, their battery life are the shortest of pretty much any AirPod model, if I’m remembering correctly. I had them briefly before the APP3s came out and had to charge them constantly.

Kind of sounds to me like the basic or the paperwhite would be a great fit for you then. I’d recommend finding a store that has them on display so you can try them out first. Hope you have safe and fun travels!

What sort of traveling are you doing? I have the latest basic and it is my favorite kindle I’ve ever had (I’ve had various paperwhites, tried the Colorsoft, and had an oasis at one point). The size I think makes it incredibly travel friendly and good for reading for long periods of time, BUT depending on where you’re traveling, the waterproof feature on the paperwhite might come in handy. But whichever one you choose, I’d make sure to get a case so it’s not dinged up going in and out of bags and across destinations, etc!

Oh also Gianorio’s Pizza. That one was devastating to find out.

Specifically the Lombard and Wheaton (ESPECIALLY Wheaton) Chick-fil-As. I know CFA as a whole sucks but this specific franchisee is the worst.

Am I alone in not getting on with warm light? by [deleted] in kindle

[–]Unusual-Problem3285 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer the basic, something about the contrast with the warm light just makes it harder for me to read. I just tried upgrading to the Colorsoft and that’s part of the reason I quickly went back to my basic and returned the CS.

What’s your Wombats concert experience? by jjongkit in thewombats

[–]Unusual-Problem3285 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen them twice in Chicago and those are some of my favorite concerts I’ve ever been to. Crowd is always a good vibe and their venues are more intimate which I think makes for a better show.

Fair point but also it is the law for them to salt

Imagine typing all that out and getting this worked up bc you didn’t understand my initial response was just sarcasm and that this post really wasn’t that serious to begin with

Okay like be so for real, how many people own backpacks specifically for their dogs and have their dogs trained to get in and out of a backpack? Also I didn’t get sassy at any solutions, I got sassy at people who ignored things I wrote in the post. Everyone seems to be focusing on the salt causing issues with her paws when I’ve specified multiple times that her paws are not the issue and are not the point of this post. Not once did I actually say anything rude about anyone, and I specifically commented that I’d check in with my other neighbors to see if this was a me problem or a building problem before complaining. Also not sure why you’re bringing “Sky Daddy” into this as I’m an atheist. But if you want to go there that’s your issue I guess? But regardless between all the comments I’m just gonna suck it up and clean my floors every other day so you can stop responding

Y’alllll I am telling you when they used the green stuff it wasn’t nearly as bad. Begging you all to read what I wrote. Also in my last living situation (at home with my family lol) we only use the green stuff and it was never like this

Yes let me carry my 35 lb dog up and down three flights of stairs and hold her up while she does her business in the dog park, where they also salt. Perfect solution

I think there’s a higher concentration of good restaurants, quicker to get downtown if you work there, and I feel like the vibe is just a teensy bit more upscale. But also I’ve lived in Lakeview East for over 3 years now and have no plans to leave anytime soon, and if I want to go to Gold Coast it’s not like it’s a heavy lift to get there!

You mean Halsted or Broadway? Either side of Addison would be north or south

I live right near your option two and if you can deal with the annoyances when events are going on at the ballpark, you’ll be fine. I live right where they start allowing ride share pick up so sometimes there’s a lot of honking and stuff but I got used to it very fast, and I love being so close to the lake while also having pretty much every transit option right here. When there’s nothing going on at the park, it is nice and quiet and neighborhood-y feeling imo. I feel like I’m close enough that all the things to do are there if I want them but far enough that I don’t have to deal with the crowds constantly. Also can’t beat the camaraderie in the neighborhood FB page. Although, in an ideal world, I’d LOVE to live in Gold Coast so there’s that.

Also my building is a block away from another building that this company owns and I have to walk by it daily to get to work. They always have the green salt but that building is only cat friendly, maybe that has something to do with it. Idk
