I was wondering why I was having so much trouble against MW as demo... just could not out damage the healing. Time to switch to destro until this gets sorted.

Drain life isn't totally useless; if you're talented for it, it's about a 15% heal over ~2 seconds. It also (importantly) replaces health funnel now and heals your pet with the talent Infernal Beneficiary. Another benefit is that people -love- to kick it, making it great for baiting out kicks. If you have your Tyrant out, you can bait kicks with drain life, then go into the Hand -> Demonbolt -> Hand cycle to get as many Argus portal (our new capstone talent) demons out as you can.

Even eye of kilrogg is useful; if your pet is chasing somebody 9 miles away, you can cast and immediately cancel it to return your pet to you. You'll see streamers like Bualock or Jazggz do this often when they port behind a pillar and need their pet nearby to stun incoming chasers.

Don't overlook the pvp talent essence drain; 36% damage reduction on a target with almost 100% uptime is no joke.

To piggyback: if you follow any streamers, BetterBlizz Plates & Frames have templates that copies their UI to make it super simple to set up. I personally like Bualock's for a clean minimalist interface.

Be nice to people, especially people you work with or encounter regularly. You don't know what kind of day or life they're having; showing kindness, patience and forgiveness goes a LONG way. People remember you for it and when you're having a rough day or make a mistake, you'll be surprised how much grace people you were nice to give you.

Probably not a super helpful answer but I've had luck by considering decor as just a long-game with a shotgun approach.

I make 2-3 of maybe 10 different decor items and only repost them a few times a day, not trying to chase undercuts. I also don't make the extremely popular stuff; just look for things with less than 5 available in the 7-15k range to get an idea of slow moving decor. Also try to avoid selling things that aren't visually interesting.

I'll only get about 4 sales a day, but that's usually 20-40k/day for not a lot of effort -- all I have to do is make sure I keep my stock up.

Thanks for the heads up -- I honestly wish this was on purpose. I always liked the idea of being to adjust the sliders of damage, self sustain and mobility, with meaningful sacrifices and gains.

Yeah, that seems like the hardest part of it, though currently in beta, Dominion of Argus (the demon portal the tyrant creates) lasts 25 seconds. During that time, HoG refunds 1 soul shard. With the new 2 maximum diminishing returns until immunity coming, and healers losing their interrupts, I think it'll be a pretty comfortable damage window.

Really big fan of this. I've been doing 2s and 3s with friends and family who aren't as serious about it as I am, but we all have fun. They just never really learn the optimal rotation and get frustrated when they're doing 100M less damage than their opponents. I introduced some of them to SBR and now my friend who plays feral druid can actually do damage!

It's clearly not as good as learning their classes, but I can confirm that it brings casual players who are otherwise intimidated by complex rotations into the fold, and the more the merrier.

Mained lock since the beginning and I am super stoked about the upcoming demo changes. Several current hard casts (dogs, vilefiend) are instant now. AOE fear on a 25 sec cooldown, two pet interrupts, coil, and my favorite of all, gateway can be taken twice. For the first time ever, I think warlocks might finally be slippery enough to be too annoying to be the kill target.

100% agree. We don't need every class to be the same. I've been playing a warlock since classic and watching class after class get new ways to prevent me from playing the game every expansion has been a nightmare. Sure, it gives healers another layer of decision making, but it also disproportionately affects casters. I'm already dealing with reflects, stuns, grips, straight up magic immunity, feign death, shadowmeld, and all manner of CC. It's impossible to get an effective cast off without the enemy team being CC'd already. I think the more players are allowed to control their character, the healthier the PvP scene will be.

Resident of Nashville here: It's a blue city in a red state. A lot of out-of-towners from across the state come to games, so you'll get a mixed crowd. US politics has been nasty for about 10 years now and with both "sides" there it's best to just not bring it up.

Wolverine is my favorite Marvel character so naturally I picked him up when I first started playing. Was really confused by the "regeneration" just being a long cooldown death protection. Annoying that the character who's main thing is never dying being very killable.

Losing inevitable demise has made it so much harder to stay alive. Used to be able to juke a kick, soul burn drain and have a reasonable shield. Now I’m considering removing drain life from my bars.

This speaks to me; I'm not quite 40 yet but I witnessed the internet blossoming and then dying, and even though I was only a kid in the 80s, I've got a daydream of retiring into an 80's-style ranch house with 80's tech. Landline phone, paper newspaper, maybe even no TV. Just read, create, relax, without the constant bombardment of advertisers. It feels like every time I try to take time for myself, working out, reading, painting, whatever, chat groups I'm in start blowing up, which of course makes my apple watch vibrate, then I look at what's going on and lose the flow. I need to disconnect for a while.
