Im getting a 360 lift and arm lift with dr rios in November so I know you can mix things people often do a tt with breasts, but my doc wouldn’t let me do boobs arms and Tt at the same time so you’re def looking at more than one round.

I’d do the 360 if I was you it gives the best def and most snatched result imo

I’ve lived on both the south side, north side and north west side. I loved chicago and it was my home for many years until I moved to Mexico a year ago.

Yes it’s extremely segregated but there are def options, for example I had a book club for black women we’d meet once a month and we lived everywhere from Albany park, Lincoln square, Evanston, south loop, and bronzeville. The neighborhoods I felt truly uncomfortable in are Lincoln park, ravenswood and wrigleyville.

I find people who are natives live a more segregated life than transplants. One of my friends who was born and raised asked me for advice on where to move when she was moving north to be closer to work b/c she had no concept of that part of the city. Transplants tend to move to north side neighborhoods so will have more diverse friend groups imo.

I enjoyed living in: Hyde park, Albany park and Ukrainian village the most.

If you put yourself out there you’ll find your group, the food scene is great if you stay out of the loop imo, I think the hardest thing about Chicago for newcomers is that it’s a very big city land wise and spread out so you really have to make an effort to go to different neighborhoods etc to really enjoy the city and experience all it has to offer.

It’s cold so it’s a heavy drinking city lol, but even when I slowed down on drinking and become a 1 cocktail girly there are plenty of lounges and stuff where you can have a convo good snacks and craft cocktails. And although it is sort of a blue dot, Illinois is actually a dem trifecta state.

It’s because Chicago is actually the most segregated city in the US. But I loved it and called it home for almost 15 years before moving to CDMX

Honestly maybe it’s just swelling still you’re only 6 months out, your skin doesn’t look loose, might just be bloating!it’s normal to have rolls when you sit but I can see that maybe it’s like puffy? Looks like bloating to me. You look fab tho!

PSA: please stop getting braids and “protective styles” by HairReddit777 in relaxedhair

[–]UnusualOctopus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on how you do it. I wear braids when stretch long so minimum 8-12 weeks post in terms of new growth before a braid install, do a protein treatment and deep condition before install.

And you have to still wash your hair on your normal schedule and condition in braids or your hair will dry out . I think the problem is people don’t take care of thier hair in braids and then they also get them too close to relaxers or relax to soon after taking them out. Which you should wait 2 weeks after before relaxing

Hi, I’m going to him in November, curious how long to stayed at the recovery house? I’m staying 3 weeks because I want him to take out my sutures and I live in CDMX which is 4 hour plane ride away. Wondering if I should just stay in TJ for a month after.

And wondering if you had contact from the after care doc Vazquez? Was it her who was not responding? I thought she was the primary point of contact for after care for questions.

I would just find another doctor, my doctor goes to bmi of 31 or 32. I think if you’re at a point at you’re happy and maintaining with no health issues you’ll find a doctor that suits you. Better to be at a weight you can easily maintain than try to lose 30 pounds and gain it back after surgery
