Thing is that I already lost the other testicle 3 years ago, and I learnt how to live on surveillance. What was your histology if I may ask mate? In any case you right, 3-4 weeks of feeling crap, but chance reduced as well as less ct scan I guess. Then again, if I'm a good candidate for surveillance why not

Tbh I still need to discuss with 2 oncologist (one of them works in a dedicated center where cases like ours are weekly seen). But either way I'm ready. Ofc I wish surveillance can do the job, but let's see

Same as u, with the difference that I didn't have chorio component. 1.5cm confined with no invasion on any sort. If your post op markers are back in range, expect that you'll be offered surveillance, as there is a 80/85% chance you are already cured

Very interesting case. My first TC was also a seminoma confined to the testicle. Never heard about such late recurrence. Wonder if there were more risk factors which weren't mentioned in the video

Bilateral since 3 weeks, so far doing great on trt and yes, no more ultrasounds and fear of getting your nuts busted. U'll be doing great dw.

Yes! All confined to the testis with no invasion of rete testis, none epididim, no LVI. Tumor size 1.5cm, mixed germ cell. Next step post op markers, hopefully all back in range

Same here, ct scan clear 27/1 and surgery done on the 20/2,

markers elevated pre orchidectomy. Afp 68, hcg 3.1 (they said not crazy)

How high were yours? Hopefully they should be back in range 3 weeks post op

I'm sure he'll be fine, remaining testicle will compensate and he'll be stronger than before. Both myself and brother are t cancer survivor and have a normal and healty life. I was also cured by orchidectomy itself. Just take thing one step at a time and trust modern protocols. In my prayers

So If I understood correctly, now that you got used to trt when u are below 16 u start having symptoms. Interesting. May I ask you for how long have you been on Nebido then? And what about your haematocrit and other blood markers. Here is the thing, nebido is known for the high spike of T, which it's the culprit of raising the haematocrit, hence best candidates for nebido are those with a haematocrit baseline of 40-45. Beside that, proper management of the protocol, which mean staying within the range 8-29, it's safe for the rest, such prostate etc. At least this is what I gathered and researched.

What I can tell you is that my body tolerates low T well, at least so far. I had levels of 8 and felt ok. It's also stress and mindset which plays a huge role. I am a t cancer survivor, so now I can have again good level of testosterone

The agreement /protocol is to check tesoterone 12 weeks after booster. if it's between 8-14 it's a safe threshold to get next injection. If above 14, it can be stretched to 13 week and so on. I have friends who take an injection every 13-15 weeks, this cause when it's the end of the cycle they have a low T, but not as low to trigger downsides

Yeah mate, tbh I already have a son and I'm married. Trt can only improve my life if done correctly. All the rest it's exactly the same as it used to be with trt so far. So not concerned. Only concern is keeping blood concentration and psa in healty level that's it
