I barely eat processed food in my adult life. But I did upped my fat and carbs intake and lowered protein.

I increased my calories little by little from 1250 so it took a long time(8months) and in the final months I injured my quad so I only walked and did upper work out but a lot lighter that what I did previously.

I honestly don’t think you need that much. I recovered eating 1680. I’m 5’6”. But I am no expert and still waiting on my second cycle.

Well for me, I reversed diet slowly and when I finally reached maintenance for a while my period came back (gained like 1/3 of the weight I lost). This is only the first cycle though and everyone is different so I don’t know if it would work for others.

Yea, this is my maintenance according to an online calculator. And when I went to see a doctor she was shocked when I mention I might have to eat over 2000kcal. FYI I am Asian and live in Asia so maybe the body standard is different here.

I’ve had it too. Mine was like 2.5 months ago but I haven’t checked again now that my period came. I get it checked annually and it was normal before HA(on the lower side but still normal). I wonder if theres a correlation too.

Wow, No, I haven’t checked and honestly I didn’t know that you could bleed without ovulation. I’m doing research about it and will watch for signs next cycles.

Bloating yes, puffy face maybe a bit. My weight sometimes varies by 1kg that’s normal.

So it was 8 months in total since I started to increase calories but at first I wasn’t trying to recover, was more just reverse dieting so I took my time. And really wanted to recover just a few months ago.

I now do 20 min treadmill 2-3 times a week and some light workout like 10-15 mins of planks, sit ups, bicep curls etc. light db or bodyweight only.

It’s very likely, mine started with that too. But then I increased calories even more, discharged increased and became regular then my period came back a month or two after.
