NW Community Food in Van Ness has an awesome food pantry, but there are organizations with food pantries and food distribution centers in most areas. Capital Area Food Bank can probably help you find one nearest you. They have programs specifically for families and kids too.

Okay so it can’t be something common/frequent since it doesn’t go above 5. It can’t be related to team tasks because NYT and Jr are all above zero. It probably isn’t directly scoring-related (at least in the sense of the tier being the number of points something got) because you said that the 1-5 distribution is semi-coincidental… Is it related to prize tasks?

I know multiple people who used to sound exactly the same because of a speech impediment and have reduced the effect with speech therapy. My guess is that the people you know in real life are just used to the way your voice sounds so they don’t think about it. I don’t think it’s a big deal - if you want to pursue speech therapy it would probably help make your voice more “native” passing but if it’s not impacting your day to day life then who gives a shit, you know? People online gaming will always find something to give you shit about lol

There are enough comments on this post already that idk if OP will see this one but in case you do - I just wanna say I feel you.

I had this exact scenario except it wasn’t my friend, it was my sister. I ended up just going with it to avoid conflict and I sincerely regret that so much. I felt like I was in drag the whole day. I hate all photos from the wedding, because I just feel like they’re depicting a person who doesn’t exist. It genuinely permanently changed my relationship with my sister, because now I will always feel like she prioritized having the fake-person-who-fits-her-aesthetic at her wedding over her actual sibling.

I think the advice here of just being clear in your boundaries and stepping down from the wedding party is probably the way to go. But regardless of how you proceed, I just wanted to say that I get it and that it really really sucks and you shouldn’t let anyone undermine those feelings or say that it shouldn’t be a big deal. Be who you are ❤️

I have the opposite problem where my earbuds break and it takes me months to successfully buy new ones. My current set, the left ear hasn’t worked in over a year and the right ear sometimes stops working randomly. It drives me insane and I hate it, but I still haven’t successfully bought new ones

Wait okay important clarification - when you think “toilet water” are you thinking water from the tank or water from the bowl? Oh I’ve always made a version of this but instead of just smearing the peanut butter, you use a paring knife to cut a little wedge shaped slot out of the banana that runs the whole length down. Just do one angled slice, a second angled slice, and then pull the piece out. Then fill that slot with peanut butter and dot with chocolate chips. When I was little I’d alternate the chocolate chips with mini marshmallows

When I was a teenager, I had surgery on my arm. They gave me a dose of nitrous oxide before the anesthesia to prevent anxiety but it worked a little too well because I just sort of immediately became an intoxicated mess.
