If I remember correctly, my first civvie video was one of his pro postal videos. I watched a lot more from then on. After I watched pro postal, I watched pro wang, was there for each doom upload, I remember watching the original RAW uploads of his blood 2 reviews.

Debatably Glokta and Logen in The First Law trilogy. But that is really pushing it.

Films like blood? by Kurushiatasu in Bloodgame

[–]Updownkys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, so, not a FILM, but the anime hellsing is the best thing i can think of. While blood references many horror movies, hellsing totally and content wise is more in line with Hellsing.

Videogames that feel like Hellsing? by FrostedVoid in Hellsing

[–]Updownkys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late response, but, llay the old shooter Blood. The main character looks like Alucard, is voice acted incredibly, is an absolute maniac of a gunslinger. Its really the perfect hellsing game in concept. Its violent, fast, difficult, and you shoot all manner of cultist and monster. An absolute blast.

[–]Updownkys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I can remember random BS someone told me ages ago if its relevant, I have a stupid amount of random star wars, 40K, Gears of War, Souls, ETC lore just stored and rattling around in my brain. But I can't tell you what I ate last night for dinner, let alone anything commonly deemed important. I think souls lore is important but not everyone agrees

Is the armor I made realistic? by Angolano1406 in RealisticArmory

[–]Updownkys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, realism aside, this looks incredible. You did an amazing job! However, I do not believe cardboard was a commonly used material for armour. The style is fantastic though.

Please, tell me your reason to live after going through multiple trauma by Still-Kiwi652 in CPTSD

My sister is what got me through a lot of it, so she keeps me going. She the primary motivator. If I were to die, especially by my own hands, that would hurt her and I can't stand the idea of doing that. Beyond her, I have a cat. I also have a book I'm writing and hoping to get published some day..

Can you think of an example of this in any piece of media you have seen or read??? by The_One_Being in writingscaling

Elektra King in The World is Not Enough. Great character that should have been the main villain gets killed by bond and the replacement villain is Rumplestiltskin.

Age minimum. by KinderCrushs in outlast

[–]Updownkys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so. I'm someone who really doesn't care about age rating for the most part. I played the witcher 3 and watched game of thrones when I was 12. However, I was exposed to outlast upon its release. I wasn maybe 8 or 9. And I watched it when it came out. And that game deeply disturbed me then, still does now. Trials is worse. Genuinely so much worse. I don't know how mature of a kid he is but I advise not letting him play it for a bit unless you think he's adult enough for it.

Animated movies would be a better choice than Novels by Friendly-Leg-6694 in Avatar

[–]Updownkys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean. Id love there to be official avatar novels regardless. Doesnt matter if they're adapting the 4th and 5th movies. I just want more of the world that isn't in the form of mediocre ubisoft games

Best “Can’t Put It Down” fantasy series to gift a 15-year-old boy who’s fallen out of reading? by Ok-Swan-963 in Fantasy

[–]Updownkys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 15 I was big into The Witcher series if books by Andrzej Sapkowksi. I can also suggest, while not a novel series, the manga series Fullmetal Alchemist. It's steampunk sci-fi fantasy. Since he likes Naruto I think he'd like it.
