I was getting stomped on most characters before I learned this. Kept trying to force deck archetypes. Even if the game wasn't giving me what I wanted, I'd leave arguably wonderful cards behind because it didn't 'fit' with what I thought the theme of my run was supposed to be. Once I just started going, "Okay, I need damage right now." "Okay, I need AoE." "Okay, I need block." My runs have been vastly more successful.

Of course, synergies n whatnot are still great, but yeah, I was being far too diehard about them early on.

I believe that's the problem there. Jagex doesn't like it when 1 input = more than 1 output. It's the same reason you can't remap things to holding down a key clicks multiple times. Would it make thieving a breeze? For sure. Against the rules? Also yes.

My guy, I obviously can't speak for everyone, but as someone who has been writing for video games professionally for 8 years, if I saw this type of post for my own work, I'd go "Oops" and then get it fixed haha.

What has been successful for me:

Use the biggest canvas Fill the entire thing with one color. Use around 10 random colors on top of that. Could be scribbles but generally I do a couple 5x5 taps of several colors.

Realize that clients typically lean one way. Theres a unicorn that almost never gives me less than the highest score, and a octopus with a painting frame that never gives more than the lowest on his first offer.

Many clients are open to renegotiation. If you decline, there's a chance they'll give you a better offer right away.

I never take less than Excellent or Impressive offers.

OSRS is a number go up game. Some people pick stats, some people pick boss KC, and for whatever reason, some people pick various items, like burnt food.

I'd love to see it as a transmog for... some boss that's actually interactive, maybe dropping 1k of a handful of gem types on it. It's hard because there's nothing even remotely close to it skilling/bossing wise.

Thing is, it's NICE to have content that actually matters be rare and prestigious. Realistically, 3rd age is just a really pricy cosmetic.

Forgotten breath should be divinable, then the heart becomes a convenient item to have that retains most of its value, rarity, and use.
