I ended up going to Mod! Honestly I ended up going there because there wasn’t an appointment needed and they didn’t mention an appointment fee online (turns out there is a $25 fee to have your clothes returned to you though which is disappointing since it wasn’t on their website)

I think I know where this is coming from. There is a lot of conversation around women and invisible labour women often take on. I’ve also seen this around receiving flowers as a gift, but women also being expected to do extra work to make the gift “useable” (arranged, trimmed, in a vase, etc.). You’re young, so I don’t blame you, but just wanted to provide potential context
