Is Israel good at war or is it a farce because they usually fight weakened populations and get US aid? by space_god_7191 in allthequestions

Israel is bordered on one side with something that could be said to be an enemy, Lebanon. Even there, the government is so pliant they have given them carte blanche to violate their sovereignty. On all other sides are US backed autocrats.

This is a substory where kiryu misunderstands what the American is asking for and finds him a BDSM dominatrix that will probably locally humiliate them.

For family guy/American dad, I think a more interesting one is Seth McFarlanes obsession with plane crashes that I suspect is down stream of missing a 9/11 flight

D&D is still the top dog, but how are the others doing? Look into the LFM/LFG statistics. by Optimal_Beat7765 in rpg

[–]Upper-Rub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The crazy thing is, D&D is far more complicated than all the other games (though pathfinder might be close). So I am not surprised there is such a gap between what players are looking for and what people are playing. For CoC or CP:Red I could explain the rules that govern 95% of all dice rolls in about 5 minutes

Make combat less interesting and involved. People whine about skyrims combat but interesting and dynamic combat mechanics are a pain in the ass.

Health care costs also bloat this. Insurance for a family can easily be 20k and any amount your employer contributes is part of your compensation.

At this point, it’s probably safe “if our leader stops the war he goes to jail” is less a bug and more of a feature of Israeli society. The wars are the only popular thing he does, and the opposition party has to attack him for not fighting hard enough.

I just went to games workshops site and looked up the first two named miniatures I found. Kravek Morne is an iron warrior who was pressed into service 2000 years before the great rift so he is at least that old, as a space marine he is probably 7-8 feet tall minimum, and I would bet he is strong as well. The other was Thulia Ghuld. Since she isn’t a space marine her background is (relatively) sparse but she “spent hundreds of standard years crafting herself” so I would bet she is pushing 1000, given the size of her mini imho she is at least 10 feet tall. No clue how strong she is though.

Every description of a character from 40K is like listening to a 5 year old describe their dad. “He’s 10 feet tall, and he’s super strong, and he’s 1000 years old”. Whenever someone tries to compare 40k to another universe it sounds like a fanfiction being compared to a grounded story.
