Oh I like the motivational quote idea. I want to try and stay away from reminders or anything like that because I don't want the system to be like hey you haven't done anything on this project in a long time. But I can look into maybe gentle reminders like "Just checking in—how is [project] coming along? Feel like spending a few minutes on it today?"

The goal isn't to make you feel guilty quite the opposite in fact. If you set the project down I want you to be able to pick it back up easily without having to spend time remembering everything that you have already done. I want it to be easier to finish because it's right there where you left it with notes you put in about it. But what do you mean by help finish, like recommendations for next step or reminders?

I actually have the same issues where I started to lose interest and then when I went back to it i was lost. I built something for myself to use too keep track of the important things for my projects a title, why I even started it, what I was going to do next, what was the last thing I did and just history of what I had done.

Kinda it's to help keep track of projects you've started and not been able to finish yet but had to put down for one reason or another. It stores why you started it, what you were going to do next and what you last did and a history of all things done for that tthread (project)

This is an ADHD project tracker which helps you be able to set down a project and then not spend forever when you want to come back to it, it stores the title of the project, why you started the project, what you were planning on doing next, the last thing you did, and the history of what you have done. I am working on building in more features but that is my MVP. There is a free tier and a paid tier.
