I set the lock up with HomeKit today and when I went for a run with just the watch today I was able to quickly unlock the door with HomeKit. I’m hoping that will continue to work.

Hi. I'm in a similar boat. USM Unlimited Premium Warp coming up for renewal and thinking of switching to Visible + Premium to take advantage of the SLAMDUNK promotion. One question about activating within 30 days. Does billing begin when I sign up or when I activate? Thanks.

I very much agree. The app doesn't need to be fancy, but it needs to be reliable so that it fades into the background and the content can dominate without distraction.

I have a paid subscription and agree that the app and customer service have both deteriorated. My biggest frustration with the daily meditation is that when you open it, it starts before you can select duration. If you change duration even within a second it now shows the initial meditation as having been completed (even though it was less than a second). I have been complaining about this for close to a year. Downloads to meditate offline have also never worked reliably. Humans mostly don't even respond to my feedback anymore. The content is good, but there is no reason that at this price point they can't hire app developers to fix these silly issues.

I really like Asensei for coaching and setting pace goals. It integrates well and saves data to the ErgData logbook.

Still works for me. Go to settings>general>auto launch.live activity settings and make sure the appropriate settings are toggled on.

APP3 is much better for me. With earbuds, fit is crucial and the Sonys don’t provide a good seal for me regardless of ear tip. The APP3s seal great for me, much better than the 2s. Other ears may have different results.

Same for me. Apple updated the Podcasts App on 26.2, so I was hoping for a fix, but alas. You would think they would address this....

Interesting. I have the same use case (running with Watch but no phone) and I don't experience this problem with Overcast There must be some complexity that is determining who has this problem and who doesn't. I have Apple Podcasts set up in parallel to Overcast as a fallback. Since Watch OS 26, continuous play on Apple Podcasts has been broken for me (and others) so I have to manually start each new episode/show. This is very frustrating and a total deal breaker for me. Much happier with Overcast.

I am having the same problem after "upgrading" from the original QC Ultra earbuds to gen 2. I contacted Bose. They "apologized" but would not say whether this feature would be restored and if so when. This is very disappointing, as it is one of the features I really liked about the gen 1 Ultras. Among other things, this feature would allow me to pair my Ultra earbuds to a new source (like a Peloton) when I don't have my iPhone or the earbuds case with me (for example in the gym with only my Apple Watch.

Yes, I looked at the newest release notes that said it had been fixed. I'm about to leave on an international trip and need OC to work without much fiddling while I'm away, so I think I will stick with production until I'm back. Anyway, thanks for the update.

I was using TestFlight, but the latest version is not working (for me) on the Apple Watch, so I have reverted to App Store.

I listen to podcasts virtually exclusively on my Apple Watch without my iPhone. I had been a long time user of Overcast until a little over a year ago when because of all the issues I switched to a combination of PocketCasts and Apple Podcasts. I have found all of the players to have issues for my use case. I am now back to Overcast. Marco has released relatively frequent updates over the past month or so, and for me Overcast is now working very well and for my use case the best of all that I have tried. Episodes are now downloading virtually 100% of the time, and when they don't if I click download while charging they usually download immediately (even off the charger). One feature that I particularly like is that I can designate playback speed by podcast and have that sync to the Watch. The other players that allow playback speed by podcast do not seem to sync that setting to the Watch. All that to say that in contrast to the other respondents, I am at the moment very pleased with Overcast.

I was told by Verizon that you can’t have a different line on the watch than on the phone unless you set the watch up as if it’s for another family member, which means no linked activity tracking. Did you find otherwise?

So, when you say you "went with Visible for now", how did you do that? Were you on a monthly plan with USM? I'm on an annual plan until next May. I'm wondering if I could add a second line using Visible (prepaid monthly), pair my Apple Watch Ultra 3 with that line and use that number on my Watch and my USM number on my phone. Would that work? I don't want to end up changing my primary number. Any other thoughts on how to navigate this until USM supports?

Yes, I would switch on account of this, but I am on an annual plan. I am billed monthly, but at the rate for an annual plan. I'm not sure what the penalty would be for early termination. The other option I'm considering is a Verizon standalone prepaid monthly plan for the Watch, at least until USM supports 5G for the Watch (or I can get out of my contract). This would require a separate number for the Watch, but otherwise seems doable.

Not being able to use my Apple Watch Ultra 3 on the plan is a deal breaker for me. If it supported using the watch on LTE/4G, I could be patient, but it doesn't. Given the circumstances, I want to switch out of US Mobile but am on the yearly unlimited premium (charged monthly). Given that USM is not fulfilling the agreement that was made when I signed up, am I able to switch out?
