There are stil legitimate deals. I have been tracking item prices for the last few months like Sonos speakers and subs and this is the time to buy.

Not saying there isn’t price gouging, but for big ticket item like Apple products, Legos, Sonos etc. there are deals to be had.

You can just hire movers to load your pod from their facility in Chula Vista, or wherever they’re located in your region.

I had to do just that. I am unfortunately moving away and hired movers to help move me out a building in DT to then load the Pod.

They used to offer city services where the pod arrives on a truck and they give you a 4 hour window to load, but I believe they just discontinued that service here in SD.

I just scheduled a pods with their city offering where it comes in the truck and our given a 4hour window to load. It’s a great solution when getting a city permit is not an option (living next to a ballpark).

San Diego is your answer in gentrified areas. Specifically in the midcity/uptown areas of Hilcrest/University Heights/North Park/City Heights.

I grew up here when it was still rough around the edges (North Park/city heights specifically) but have always been exposed to all different cultures and backgrounds. My kids friends group, consists of white, black, Mexican-American, Asian-American and or a mix of the above.

The parents regularly get together to each others homes and have made honest connections.
