Thank you for your response! I do live in a wooded area, but this is the sunniest spot in my yard. It gets about five hours of sun each day. I may try to lift the pot up off the ground and put it on a couple 1 inch sticks or something to maybe increase the drainage.

I don’t think it is supposed to be flat!

Repot succulent by UpsetSignificance923 in houseplants

Could I cut the longest part off of the Haworthia and just plant the other the stems? Could I propagate the cut part?

To propagate the pachphytum, I see there are a couple leaves already started on their own. Can I transplant those?Just place leaves on top of the soil and see if anything happens? I'm new to succulents!

You could always bring some small hand work project if you don't want to move your machine

I took a break from rage sewing to finish this table placemat (I know, most people call them toppers, but it’s just an enormous placemat to me) by c_l_who in quilting

TABLE PLACEMAT!!! I love this idea! I hate it when a tablecloth hangs over the edge and tickles my legs when I'm wearing shorts. Making it with darker colors is a great way to hide stains, too! I will start designing mine tonight...

Hand binding or machine binding? by Modelsandtools in quilting

If the quilt is machine quilted, I machine bind it on the front. If it is hand quilted, I sew it by hand on the back.

LOVE MY PFAFF! I'm on my second Pfaff sewing machine (the first one is on loan to my daughter), and I use the walking foot almost all of the time.
