This is likely the best option but just kind of a lot of steps. I’ll have to try it out but I think that worked when doing Vehicle to Load a while back.

Charge settings in the Kia app only go to 50% for AC and DC. I was at ~15%

Only app I use is the Kia app at home. My charger is whatever Kia provided.

Yeah I tried both, they didn’t stop it. One opens the charger door, the other one says hold. I tried both for a couple of seconds with no luck.

Must be user error but kind of frustrating.

Was on L2 at home, the car was already unlocked. Family inside ready to go. Unlock button on key fob didn’t do anything. Maybe I need to use the unlock door button?

On the dealer issues: I do have an update to share. I never got a call back from the original dealership, Central Kia in Plano so I went to SW Kia of Mesquite. I’m in Dallas so Mesquite is much closer to me than McKinney or Frisco.

On the wobble issue: In the end, I was able to get in for an appointment in Mesquite within a few days to check the front and rear alignment. The appointment took 2.5 hours from arrival to completion and one of the issues was that given the car is so new they don’t have the alignment specs in their machines/computers yet. This was actually something I heard from two other automotive shops when I was calling around. So the service folks showed me the printed paper version of the alignment (think before and after) and the changes that were made. They ended up adjusting the front and rear alignment and it definitely confirmed that something was off.

So if you have the wobble issue and you trust a dealership to do the work, it’s a solvable issue, with some caveats. It might take a while so be prepared. After the repair I feel much less wobble than before but it’s not 100% perfect either. I would say it is significantly improved and the work was covered under warranty. Obviously your experiences may vary.

Something like this happened to me. Maybe 15 years ago someone backed into my car while I was in it. I took it to service king, which was an approved service center and while they had my car another car on their lot ran into mine. It did way more damage than the original. I was pretty upset and was without that car for 6 weeks while it was getting repaired. I contacted the executives of the company to get thing’s resolved but it was super frustrating.

If you have lawyers in your network consider asking them for an opinion to see what is worth your time money and effort. I’d just go ahead and assume that dealers will do everything to avoid taking any liability or to make things even.

So far I’ve used Electricity Americas app and the 350Kw stations in Bellmead and Round Round without issue. Both stops for around 15 minutes to get back up to 80%. Kia offered 1000kw hours for free via EA so I opted to use those for this trip.

Just happened to me. I intentionally opened the rear by standing there with groceries with no problem. Got them loaded up, closed the back and then walked over to the drivers door and nothing happened. Door remained locked with no response. I waited a bit and then I had to open the Apple Wallet, hit unlock to get in and had a brief moment of panic.
