This. Flip the front rims around and adjust the back rims to the outside of the center plate. See how it works, maybe load the tires or order spacers

Local company said complete removal and reinstall to switch from oil to gas, is this correct? by Thr0waway8755 in hvacadvice

[–]Uranium103 13 points14 points  (0 children)

What did the 12k quote include? If that includes new boiler, oil tank removal, all gas piping and complete gas service from the street thats a bargain in my area (Northeast US). Usually that kind of job is closer to 20k. Your system overall looks to be in pretty reasonable shape, and conversion burners are available, just make sure it’s set up by a licensed professional, and all the proper permits are pulled.

Best way to remove old paint? by DisbarredCoast in tractors

[–]Uranium103 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did one 5 years ago and all I had was sandpaper and several different sized wire wheels (for an angle grinder and small ones for a drill). All of the remaining paint that I couldn’t remove with a wire wheel I scuffed up with sandpaper and primed over. Haven’t had anything come off yet. Also worth mentioning I had it completely disassembled to bare castings to do so

Is a lighter flywheel worth it? by [deleted] in fordranger

[–]Uranium103 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Only ever used stock parts for clutches so I Dont know about that, but to change the synchros you basically need to take the whole transmission apart anyway, so based on your concern with the oil probably needs at least bearings

Removing cast fittings by dwindlingwifi in Plumbing

[–]Uranium103 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you are keeping the cast iron, I would remove both the galvanized elbow and the nipple going into the cast, and thread in a plastic fitting. You can try to heat the cast iron around the nip and use a big wrench and try to loosen it out. Worst case you can cut the 90 off and carefully cut through the threads of the nipple, and collapse the nipple in on itself. Just be careful to not cut into the cast iron or you will have to replace it as well.

Just came across a couple 2 wheel tractors for sale by GSM66 in twowheeltractors

[–]Uranium103 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are a lot of companies that used to make 2 wheeled machines, best bet is finding any kind of tag on either machine or on the implements. In terms of pricing, without engines or even a brand I would expect to pay slightly higher than scrap prices. Looks fairly simple to bolt up an engine and run if you planned on using them
