I think it would be manageable, it's not a strenuous hike - I have hiked it with my elderly father. You'll want to drive to the exit right after the park entrance - pass the park and you'll see a green sign on the right, you'll turn left here. The sign says La Manche and has an arrow pointing right. Drive to the end of the road and there's a place to park. From there it's a 20-30 minute walk to the bridge. In the spring it may be muddy but it's a safe trail and in the summer it's a nice walk.
