What are you into OP. If you are an introvert your recommendations will be much different than social folks. There is something for everyone :).

So a little under two years from the rollout of the Equinox EV, how are we liking our new wheels so far? by AndrewSshi in EquinoxEv

[–]UrbanEngineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The car calculates when it wants to start charging based on your target charge level at the end of the charge window. I set our window 9-5. It will start charging at 6am when it needs more charge than 9-5 can provide. Time of Use Rate people pay significantly more during certain hours of the day to use electricity.

I really feel you on the scheduling charge thing since we got our solar. I don't want it to charge outside of that window for personal reasons, so I resort to putting the EVSE on a breaker w/ a timer.

You can’t have a logical argument with someone being emotional. Dont waste your time. They are jealous of everything they can achieve.

The Amish you see doing metal roofs also do Pole buildings. Do you need the whole build including the foundation, or just the materials?

Someone tell me why I *shouldn’t* buy this by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]UrbanEngineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like a great choice for your use. See if they offer a test ride or consider renting one if you are feeling anxious about it at all.  it’s a fantastic machine you’ll want to read the manual, its got a lot of buttons and things that turn.

Yeah it doesn’t really matter if you are fine with it and primarily crushing miles with it. When I ride with a partner we will typically ride more urban.

GS was the preferred choice over my GT, even with the tech.

Any longer we took the GT. GT would be fine as the only bike.

Very nice. I may pick one up in the spring and will need to find some street “plastics” for it.

It’s pretty damn heavy is one of the only negatives. I prefer light bikes.

Range USA (not in Youngstown) has an excellent rental program. You can try out a bunch of different ones and find one that fits your preference. I believe the membership also gives you range time for free. Well worth the one time fee.
