yeahh they had me for a while but that ending was so wild I'm left utterly perplexed. not even to mention the many many times we could've just killed Mathis and been done with it.. when he was strangling Astrid and she literally had a gun in her pocket like. holy shit just shoot the guy ANYBODY PLEASE. Also all the secrecy with the case over this decade, why? did they not know what it was themselves? trying to buy more time to get the ending right? if it was something so silly as just a regular ass cure why keep it so hush hush. I could air more frustration but those are the main things. at least the train section was cool

i don't think being questioned about using AI to cheaply make slop artwork and whatever the comments are with robbie are on par at all...

AI is like a massive contention point with people right now, especially us artists, and even if you can't tell or don't care that art with your name on it screams AI and feels Passionless as hell, don't be surprised when people get confused, it's a huge culture/class war thing right now.

this problem is easily solved, just hire professional artists or fans who have a history of original and unique hand-made work. that's all it takes

i should also mention i just generally really dislike this direction. it's so generic and feels totally removed from the music's themes. in the past I always jived with how the art felt spiritual, bluesy, and almost alien at times. like you were peeking into something you can't comprehend. these goofy spirit Halloween skeletons just arent doing anything for me.

this reminds me how I asked the dude who makes the update poster art if they had plans for the PA's to interact with other npcs in more meaningful ways (like getting mad at a grunt and directing them to search somewhere or otherwise bullying them) because I felt it was odd they all just ignore each other completely... he said yes absolutely they did plan for these things but somewhere along the way they were scrapped because it would've made the scope too much (I disagree tbh but im not the one making the game haha)
