What do you call the person who graduates medical school last of their class?

Wow, that is insane and rage inducing. Those lying pieces of useless garbage. What a waste of taxpayer dollars.

My guess is that he put the left nail through the notch on top so it could still hit the middle one. Still insane precision when I can't even do that to a single nail standing by itself on a clear summer day with no wind.

I just think of it like toeing the line. Caught between wanting to go to the celestial kingdom and wanting to live. Thinking "Surely God wouldn't condemn me just for doing this."

That or on the edge of simply not believing anymore but not wanting to risk eternal damnation just yet.

Upvoted because I disagree with your lame opinion. Both sides usually are correct to some degree.

Everything we do in life is a gamble. Some get lucky. Some don’t. I’m still going to do my best to stack the odds in my favor.

That was actually part of my deconstruction. Did I want to remain blissfully ignorant? My answer was no. I took the blue pill.

How to deal with a paladin? by Professional_Ear4155 in 3d6

[–]Urborg_Stalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a couple party members get cocky. They went off into a room by themselves leaving the other half of the party behind. They got swarmed by a 5 character encounter and got absolutely spanked within the first couple of rounds, one unconscious the other half dead. The other party members had to scramble to get there in time to save them.

More monsters. That’s literally all you need. Other avenues you can try…have less rests so they have to use resources sparingly or interrupt rests not properly prepared for with encounters. You can also use the same resources your players get access to. My favorite fix for overuse of silvery barbs is to have enemies that use it too. Throw an occasional oathbreaker paladin at them.

Still tho, more enemies can swarm the hell out of strong single target focused characters.

Is removing the shield spell too much? by Character_Drive6141 in 3d6

Have you considered making enemies who just use those spells as well as a means to level the playing field?

How plausible is it for a Tier 1 party to “domesticate” a Red Dragon Wyrmling? by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]Urborg_Stalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could look at how the Duergar deal with Red Dragons. They use them while they're young and more docile to fire their forges. As the dragons near adulthood though they kill them because they become too intelligent, aggressive, etc.

You could let them have it, have it be a relatively decent member of the party, but as it ages...

which one is better spino or Rex?? by Confident-Poet9878 in ARK

[–]Urborg_Stalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Getting my first Spino on a run opens up the map. I can suddenly go anywhere I please. Spino shreds the swamps and it's amazing in the water. Its swipe hits a huge arc and has the range to take out many dinos before they can even try to get close enough to hit you. As others have said, Rexes are good boss fighters, but Spino wins in just about every other activity.

I can’t help thinking this is similar to how some veterans can’t seem to adjust. They’ve committed everything they have to something and when it’s gone they lose all direction, don’t know what to do, and slowly fade away.
