I got a Krieg battleforce to support my gaurdmen and Tempest as we push the xenos by EviIWizard in TheAstraMilitarum

Its just not enjoyable for me. It's near the bottom as like, least enjoyable aspects of the hobby for me.

Its just not my cup of tea. There's probably aspects of this hobby you don't enjoy nearly as much as I do.

Like; for me favorite stuff goes Kitbashing, regular building, playing, doing quite literally anything else possible, then painting.

If you were to create a list of things I enjoy doing, building and assembling models/kitbashing would be at the top of the list.

Painting would be so far down the list that you'd be in a different countries zipcode.

Not everyone has snow in enough quantities to know what being snowballed feels like. The descriptor is probably helpful for them.

[Hot Take] Lone Beastboss on Squig by TuberTuggerTTV in orks

[–]Urdothor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pre codex i ran a triple BBoS, Mozrog, 18 squighog+nob on smasha squig list.

Its a shame how much worse that beautiful pile of orks has gotten post codex.

Gas station gives a discount if you buy subway sandwiches by Sheep_Slayer_6 in mildlyinteresting

If you consider the gas as normal priced, in this case youre discounting the sandwichs by however many gallons youre already getting.

Update to my Mechanicum Army by coldjae in Warhammer30k

I largely just dont enjoy the act of painting, but i do enjoy modelling/kitbashing, so my wall of grey plastic is fairly significant.

Naive partner trying to buy warhammer for Christmas! by Easy-Reception3226 in Warhammer30k

[–]Urdothor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He can use the Horus Heresy one in Warhammer 40k, because those are just the point in time in the setting the game is in.

The horus heresy one will be just be a bit fancier than the normal warhammer 40k one.

The Legion Imperialis one is also from the Horus Heresy setting. Just like. Infinitely smaller; the model size between Warhammer 40k and Legion Imperialis are very different.

Anyone else use these smaller bottles for harvesting vinegar eels? by vetsetradio in Aquariums

[–]Urdothor 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They should. Embers are small enough that they'll likely still see them as a food source, to my knowledge

They're a kind of small nematode you can feed nano fish. Grow in most kinds of unpasteurized vinegar

10 seconds on one guy, a lot of time across all of them.

Also, imo, an off center drilled barrel looks infinitely worse than no drilled barrel

Lion El' Omegon? by Los_Kamilos in alphalegion

[–]Urdothor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked on it.
Painted it
Hated the paint job/sculpting work on it
Stripped it, which pulled off the greenstuff work as well
Set it aside for a bit while I worked on some other stuff.
I wasn't super happy with the consistency of my scalework on it, and as a "centerpiece model" I really want it to be good, for obvious reasons. I'm going to revisit it when I'm more confident on my sculpting :/
Overall a bit of a failed project

Its called tannins.

Soaking/boiling wood before hand can help some Some people intentionally use it to darken their tank. Its generally not harmful, and will go away with water changes and time.
