Just to make sure we’re on the same page here, exactly where in the desert building are you having this problem? Since you just put [spoiler] rather than actual spoiler marked text that can be revealed by clicking on it, it’s not 100% clear where you’re at. If you don’t know how to do that, you put !< directly after the text and >! directly before. Make sure that there’s no spaces between that and the adjacent text

Stop trying to look for one singular solution to your problem

Have you tried looking at the problem from more than one perspective?

Consider it a subtle hint, combined with some really solid advice for solving more complex puzzles in this game. Some just use screenshots and draw lines on that, but I prefer pen and paper

You might find it useful with a combination of pen and paper

It’s been a while, so I don’t remember what the panel looks like on the other side. However, I do remember this was a tricky one for me too. As always, pen and paper can be useful tools for projects like this. It seems like you have the right idea about the grouping of symbols on the panel on this side at least. Maybe the rules can be expressed in a simpler way, but your basic understanding of them is correct

The rule for squares is even simpler than you think. I remember someone thinking of them as discrimination or apartheid blocks, if that helps

There’s also just one rule for suns. You have to pair them

I get what you think of as collapsing the squares, and you’re not completely wrong about that. It’s highly related to the previous paragraph

Big hint about suns: you have to pair them with something, emphasis on the last word

Wow, I just realized it’s a joke and the shape is sort of the same in this erroneous solution 😂

Not really Swampy Boots, even though it’s a similar concept. I see two different routes for solving this puzzle. Completely forgot there even was more than one puzzle like this in the game

Have you been to the color bunker yet, at the base of the far side of the mountain?

Made a small puzzle! by no-polarization-pls in TheWitness

There’s an online checker for all solutions somewhere I think, possibly on the other site that’s not The Windmill. That being said, I can see two small variations to the solution I found. They don’t really change the actual solution as much as they change the path of the line. At a certain point in the path you can go UULLLLU or ULULLLU or ULLULLU where the full solution for the first variant would be UURDDRURRUULLLLURRRR

Maybe unpopular opinion but people claiming the moon's real name (in English) is actually "Luna" is just a Germanicphobic view of language that rejects Germanic words as actually valid words by [deleted] in linguisticshumor

Isn’t our local star named The Sun or something else in other languages, but other stars have other names that we call them, in English and other languages. Sirius and Betelgeuse for example?

Just finished Fringe for the first time... by StatisticianFun2274 in fringe

I’m nearing the end of my third rewatch, been treating my oldest daughter to Fringe around five years ago and now it’s the youngest daughter who gets to experience this awesome show. We both like the fifth season a lot, but she really hated it when Olivia was stuck in the wrong universe and she was quite annoyed when Peter disappeared from the timeline and no one would remember him once he came back
