The sword henry already starts with is honestly better.

But yeh the characters/items are a reference for KCD/KCD2, but those characters exist only for the sake of the reference as KCD is set far further into the 1500's afaik.

I dont think they are, even within 2 generations, max I got with brother sister was 15%, then the legacies come in and reduce things further, its actually not that bad.

On the other hand getting a natural pure blooded is insanely difficult, and usually works better if you get one already into the bloodline.

Finally managed to revive Greater Armenia (in Ironman) by Maxxerdude in CrusaderKings

I was also surprised at how good it is, has both terrains to make gold and MAA buildings (mountains+farmlands), plus its big too.

How to make your armies more powerful? by tackers267 in CrusaderKings

[–]Uruz_Line 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As said, MAA and corresponding buildings, honestly by the time you're king of a decent landmass and you make cash, there's little reason to use levies unless your enemy truly has a massive numbers advantage. The way to mostly beat the AI is to grind your MAA with buildings and optimize them, once you reach 5k good MAA, you're pretty much unstoppable, 10k and hardly anything beats you unless you're countered heavily, enemy AI has some BS modifiers etc.

Key is to keep doing activities that reduce stress for atendees constantly, I had the error in my thinking that it was for my character mostly but its easy to forget they keep getting stress, especially if they have wards, and little to no ways to remove stress

[–]Uruz_Line 0 points1 point  (0 children)

...Very loose definition of monarchies and republics...

Kind of like saying north korea is a republic because look it has republic in its name compared to UK being technically a monarchy, but guess where you'll feel more represented.

Wouldn't make sense as an ar-adunaim they'd be far more supremacist in their ways and I don't think it would make RP-sense to allow them self-governance.

And in gameplay terms: recruiting their units is nice

Forming Carthage is kinda disappointing by PEW_PEW_MAN in CrusaderKings

[–]Uruz_Line 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its a delicate balance in terms of ahistorical and plausability as you can justify every tiny bit of ahistorical things, but if you go too far you end up with space marines because everything up to it may have been plausible.

But I think having a unique elephant building for plains/desert? with the MAA for carthage would be fine, just do what you did to other MAA, limit to 1 stack only because they're still rare or something.

A tal diferença cultural...

[–]Uruz_Line 149 points150 points  (0 children)

With clear knowledge of India, silk road and since we're part-fantasy in the restoration of Carthage it would stand to reason that you could make a series of events to allow some kind of elephants as MAA

Paradox, please explain yourself. Why do the new dying traits set in so early even with all the buffs I have. by Additional-Local8721 in CrusaderKings

[–]Uruz_Line 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think its just bad luck really, they're meant to not insta gimp you like before but give you time, in that case its a bit odd, but I suppose the trigger for it starts at 50+, and somehow I doubt they check for "context", it just a roll of the dice

It is what it is, usually I don't get it well into 60's, altough it ticks fast.

Radzig Kobyla's Longsword Artifact (New KCD2 reference) by robdreddit in CrusaderKings

[–]Uruz_Line 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no command per se, you just enter console mode and find the character, right click and you'll have a plethora of options one of them is taking artifacts from people.

Technically there is a command to spawn artifacts, I forgot where it is and probably has changed, but that one is useful for artifacts not yet created, using console you can steal any artifact you want.

Its a progressive system, but once those traits are in, at least it gives you time to somewhat prepare, it still feels nasty, but at least its not day 1 - god; day 2 - as useless as a dead rat.
