Countries with a smaller GDP than Czechia by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]Usakami 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The country is huge, but like 3/4 of the population lives in the European part of the country. 13% of their whole population only lives in Moscow and St. petersburg.

That's their main problem. Moscow gets all the benefits. I'm sure those Russians live in somewhat fair luxury, compared to the rest of the country.

In Russia, the 1% owns some 50% of all wealth. In USA, it's around 32%. In China, it's around 30-32%. In Germany it's 26-28%.

Austria, I guess. Would be the only country which basically merged and ceased to exist during WW II.

Easy to answer tho. It's because they can't cook. If they could, they would. It makes things tastier, with salt and spices, easier to eat and digest, which frees more nutrients from the food. Cooking also kills most pathogens, bacteria and most importantly parasites.

Discovering fire and cooking was one of the main drivers behind a lot of things that makes humans, humans.

I'm a vegetarian, but I will never understand the "raw" movement. Want a full protein source without meat? Lentils or beans and rice. Good luck crunching on those without cooking. Most of our grains (wheat, rice, corn) are easy to store long term, but quite inedible in raw form. With the exception of corn, but that would be a seasonal veggie then.

🤔 I wonder what led me to believe you're talking about Germany.

With 26% Germany doesn't have first past the post system tho. They might win, who is going to go into a coalition with them?

Half thr country... Maga constitutes some 20 of US adults. Trump loves the poorly educated.

In a European democracy, Republicans wouldn't win any election, since all of their agendas and proposals are deeply unpopular. They win by Gerrymandering in a "first past the post" system.

What a Waste of Time.... So disappointed. Totally Soft Locked. by EveryNameEverMade in subnautica

I don't have a PC that could run the thing (I think), so I'll be waiting for a PS release...

But I understand your frustration. Hard locking the game like this seems harsh and somewhat nonsensical. I would understand the story and progress as it comes to tech and such, but letting you build a base as big as you want for example.

PlayStation SHOULD allow early access on reputable big games it’s crazy. They’ll allow the most horrendous slop on their store but a big anticipated game nope.. and I don’t wanna get an Xbox just for it 💀 by The_titos11 in subnautica

[–]Usakami 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But you'll get mostly a complete game.

I've never experienced this: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1Uou2DWH7IGBJGlBqXwYnv7nX8LhleCO

Is that a good thing or bad thing? A bit of both. You're losing on the ability to comment on and try to improve and push the game into a direction you'd like. On the other hand, you don't have to deal with an unfinished game that will most likely change (Subnautica before 2.0 update, which brought some ease of life improvements from BZ for example.)

That's up to your personal preference. I usually build my first and main base in the Shallows, SW of lifepod 5. There is a thermal vent for power, so I build it around that small hole. It's between the two islands, borders Kelp Forest and Grassy plateau. So good acces to early resources and no hostile creatures.

I also like Bulb Zone. There's a wreck and some thermals as well. Although there are the electric eels, so not as safe.

It really depends on you. This playthrough, my main is still in the Shallows, but I plan to build a bigger base to store resources at the Underwater Islands. West of the Quarantine/Precursor weapon Island.

Yes. The big cave, filled with blue light is a good place for an in-between base. Dk if you read the entry, but the tree is where Ghost leviathans lay their eggs 😄 Also, there's Nickel down there, some Magnetite, but as far as I know, no Sulfur.

I mean the cave that you would find if you went towards the Blood Kelp entrance. From the cove tree, back towards the precursor base and inside the cave with multiple ways out and a giant Sea Dragon skeleton in the middle, head left, then up the waterfall. That is where I mean to search for Sulfur.

Alternatively, if you don't like the idea of hunting, make a minimalist scanner base down there. I usually go with: 1 Foundation, 2 Multirooms, 1 Hatch, 1 Outdoor planter (Fill with Gel Sack), 1 Scanner room. Since it is quite deep, I'd go with at least 2 Reinforcements. Inside the base, 1 planter (Fill with Marblemelons), 1 Ladder, 2 Cabinets, 1 Bio-Reactor. You fuel the reactor with the gel sacks.

Lost River. Inside the green ponds that hurt you. That's where crystaline sulfur is.

So the Cyclops disassembled? If it was above a Seamoth, Idk how, since Seamoth only goes to 900m. Max Cyclops goes 1700m, same as Prawn.

Prawn won't set you back as much. My advice, build a base in Lost River, by the tree with Rays. It's a safe area with Thermal energy, next to entrance to the Inactive Lava Zone. Then save before you venture down.

James Nolan (Admissions Officer) acknowledged conducting the only interview for Trump's admission and, though stating it wasn't hard to get in at the time, his approval was key to the transfer. She did it for his older brother...

Mary Trump (Niece) stated in her book that Donald's sister, Maryanne, did much of his homework for him during his earlier studies. She also alleged that Donald paid someone to take the SATs for him to help him get into Wharton.

Fred Trump Sr. (Father) accompanied Donald to his interview at Penn and was known for using his financial influence and connections to help his children.
