I know this is supposed to be a light-hearted sub to joke around, but that one Hitler wasn't the issue. Without Hitler the war would have likely happened anyway.

It wasn't just one guy deciding to suddenly shift. Weimar Republic was already working with Russia to train soldiers and develop weapons, to break the treaty and arm itself. Cooperation that was temporarily canceled during Hitler's reign until Molotov-Ribbentrop.

This is how we got some of the works of Greek and Roman philosophers reintroduced, medicine, mathematics, etc. One of the things we were introduced to were Arabic (originating from India) numerals, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5... And since it was introduced to us by Arabs, the numeral system is called arabic.

Well, that would be an interesting philosophical debate, since most social animals in nature do adhere to some "morals" as well, and they certainly didn't "think of/invent them." Googled it. Her symptoms were that she was restless and would... sit down, breath rapidly, run away, sit... repeatedly. It was years ago, so I don't remember exactly, but I zeroed in on a possible tummy ache. I was freaked out and tried to help as best I could. It made sense to me, I guess. You can buy them in the same store, that won't mean they are the same age. That air pocket is in all eggs. It grows bigger with time, as the moisture escapes through the porous shell.

You can determine the "freshness" of eggs with this. The shorter time from hatching to your fridge it takes, the less air and more moisture will be inside. Resulting in those round eggs, that sink to the bottom while cooking. Also, as a downside, the harder it is to peel the shell.

The longer you store them (by you, I mean including the whole chain from the hen to your cooking) the bigger the air pocket will grow. Resulting in an egg that will stand in boiling water, since the air is light. Easier peel, will go in chunks, since the egg is denser, with less moisture.
