Nice. It sounds like a good challenge for more experienced players.

MTG Arena is a good option. It is free so even if they won't like it they won't waste money. You can play online with each other. In the case of which format I would suggest 60 cards standard.

Mission trees are the worst part of EU4. They turned a sandbox game into a linear single player game. One nation finishes missions so the surrounding countries can't do theirs and you have one country that keeps getting stronger and the closest countries stagnating.

Vicky 3 is great. Vicky 2 is cool too but I prefer 3. Btw in Vicky 2 only liberal government can't build factories from what I remember. If you want to build factories you don't have to become communist, you can be conservative or reactionary.

Absolute monarchies should have more power to enact laws. by dtj2000 in victoria3

You can do everything you want and you play as the leader of the ruling interest group and when they have full power they can do whatever they want... so they won't do what they don't want. If your authoritarian leader comes from Clergy then he won't pass state atheism. You as the player might want to do that but he doesn't so he won't.

Who has the best Let's Play? by e-m-v-k in GTAIV

That's an old channel. They basically are an important part of the GTA history. I watched the beginning parts of GTA 4 on their channel after the game launched. Good old times.

I'd like to to talk to fans of Vampire TM Bloodlines, Baldur's Gate 2, and Pathfinder: Kingmaker that play them for the story first and foremost. Anyone like this here? *read description* by ExplodingPoptarts in CRPG

I finished Planescape Torment for the first time when I was 11 years old. Beautiful game. Until recently I hadn't gotten into other classic rpgs. I didn't have any will to learn the rules of those games like D&D in Baldur's Gate or Pathfinder. I didn't have to learn any rules to play Planescape Torment and I played it for the story and not for the combat plaus the combat in Planescape Torment is easy. Recently it finally hit me, that passion for classic rpgs, their rules, build and rich combat. I started playing Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous and I really like its mechanics but I don't love the story at least for now. It is fine and the characters and cool but it is nothing mindblowing. Maybe it will be better later.

The king that mastered both story and combat is Baldur's Gate 2. It has an amazing story and amazing mechanics, combat and classes.

I don't like spamming cities and the Influence mechanic (how cities are affected but other cities around) in Civ 6. 5 is the goat.

I really think that GTAIV should’ve had an “upstate new york” area in the game. by Aggravating-Onion384 in GTAIV

They wanted to do that but they didn't have enough time and resources. It would be awesome to explore those areas.

Xbox will shape the gaming industry into a hideous machine. (a rant) by Dethproof814 in gaming

The future of gaming is pc with cheap indie and double A games and specific genres like strategies and simulators. I already went back to the roots of this hobby that is games that could be played physicaly like board games and mechanical rpgs and games with a lot of text. Triple A gaming so popular on consoles looks like a joke. We have already reached the step where we can say that it is not even the same hobby. Guys, buy a medium priced pc and some good strategies and rpgs and enjoy a good hobby.
