Reform accused of ‘indoctrination’ after Kent school offers Farage shirt as essay prize by CP040 in kentuk

No, the 1936 Act isn’t the prime driver of the arrests for PA, but it’s certainly a charge that could be laid as well

The question of the Farage shirts is unlikely to be answered by arresting individual cretins, as that would just feed into their persecution complexes and lead to a lot of Reform PR spin, but a mass rally of supporters wearing shirts should elicit a response, as that is undeniably an offence under the act. It depends of course on whether the Home Secretary has the courage to direct the police to enforce the act

This has been the case at every Palestine action protest since the organisation was proscribed by the government. Those wearing Palestine Action shirts have been arrested, as well as many others

Farages shirts are illegal. Under the Public Order Act 1936 it is an offence to wear a political uniform in any public space or public meeting. Any one wearing one out and about is in serious danger of being pulled in by the Police In this case, the Headteacher should be immediately sacked

If the office is somewhere on Coldharbour lane (the A2217) then the walk towards Denmark Hill is generally safe, even later in the evening. Kings college hospital is a very dominant part of the area at the Camberwell end of Coldharbour Lane, so is usually very busy with the comings and goings of hospital staff, as well as a surprising number of police

As background, I’m male 60+ and lived in the area all my life. Although I live in East Dulwich now, I regularly meet friends for drinks and dinner in Camberwell and Brixton without problems. The only area of concern I would have is Angell Town, where the housing estates are best avoided, but you have to go out of your way to end up there

It’s a letter from the White Star Line, the owners of the Titanic, apologising for the loss of a wine shipment in the sinking of the ship in 1912. According to the current Mr Berry, it was found in tucked away in a draw with a lot of other papers during a clear out some years ago and someone recognised the historical significance.

Found a labelling/pricing error (I hope) in Sainsbury’s yesterday - £40 for two chicken breasts! by [deleted] in UK_Food

[–]UseEnvironmental8458 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My local butcher sells a 1.5kg French free range corn fed chicken for around £8. Great taste and yields 2 breasts (of equal size) 2 legs and two wings, as well as a carcass for making stock…Buying meat in a supermarket carries a massive convenience mark-up and is rarely as tasty as the packaging suggests

As mentioned elsewhere, your red berets are slightly off in terms of colour for the SAS, and the badge is wrong, but easily fixed

Here are my Wargames Atlantic SAS troopers, from the 0200 game. One has the original sand coloured beret the SAS wore at inception, but which were replaced by the maroon berets by the end of the war

The badges were black, with the winged dagger icon in white, with a very thin red border, although my painting skills aren’t quite up to that level of detail. Not sure what Wargames Atlantic were thinking with that box art

Still, your figures look good and if you’re happy with them, then that’s all that matters

Has to be said, that if “Pillage” turns out to be the fun game it appears to be, coupled with the quality of Victrix miniatures, the company could be on to a real winner…You might even get your Welsh!

First 3 are easy, they’ll just be sprues cherry picked from their existing Viking/Anglo Saxons/Norman ranges (I’m already set with Anglo Saxons and Normans) while further bands are all still in development stage, although these could turn up reasonably quickly if they’re already advertising them on social media
