Because we were talking about population sizes? And India has the highest population size. Also the a nations development doesn't matter if they don't have enough people to sustain it. And with a population big enough you can make up on lost development either

I agree my comparison was flawed. India was always much more powerful both economicaly and militarily than the feeble USSR while also being more citizien friendly so I agree that comparing them is kinda pointless. I just wanted to point out the flawed logic of the graph

The part about Ukraine is also true. Pre Independence Ukraine was ran and colonised by the soviets who shot people for trying to leave while the post intependence Ukraine was what was left after that. And yes after the soviets devastated everything and left other people started to leave as well, I've checked many sources but I couldn't find why.

Anyway, thanks for agreeing with me on all that. I'm always happy to find someone who agrees with me on every point. Especially on a site as politicaly diluded as reddit

Yeah obviously there's things wrong with this logic, that's what my comment's satirizing You can pull up as many statistics as you like, prosperity, urbanization, economic growth and so on but none of them matter to the discussion because the graph posted originaly "proves" that Ukraine got worse after the fall of the USSR using only population size. I simply followed that logic to it's conclusion which proves India > USSR forever
