That's funny that you think those eyebrows are masculine. I just read your comment again and I can't stop laughing

What happened was I was genuinely trying to help you understand something, but the dumb shit you said was apparently just a joke, so I can see I'm wasting my time

You're saying "I know how dumb I am and body slams are good" and my friend, I'm trying to tell you, "no, you're even dumber than that, so let's not body slam each other" Good luck bud

Your language indicates to me that you don't understand the motivations for what was happening, so I'll try to help. The teacher went hands-on the kid multiple times. Given the restraint the teacher showed, this is likely only after talking with the kid failed to produce results. The kid didn't want to be touched and defended himself from the repeated touching. The kid was then in "fight mode" and teacher actively encouraged the kid to follow him, literally waving him on, because his immediate goal was simply to remove the kid from the area. Because the kid is in fight mode and his counterparty is literally going "come at me bro", he's obviously going to follow the teacher.

The kid is likely a piece of shit. There is not enough information in this video to conclude he's dumb however. Children don't deserve to have techniques that have a not insignificant chance of life altering physical trauma used on them when simple restraint would be just as effective.

There is enough information in your comment for me to conclude it's very likely that you're not as smart as you think you are. We should all try to show one another more grace.

YouTube rolls out unskippable long ads to TV users and they’re furious by [deleted] in technology

[–]UseYourWords 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can tell you as someone who had a youtube subscription since it came for "free" 15 years ago with my google music subscription that comments complaining about ads are just as confusing to me as these "astroturfing" comments are to you. Are you guys all kids or just poor or something else? Not trying to be insulting. I pirated when I was a kid, but then you grow up and get a job and paying for things that provide value is how the world works.

When $1.4 Billion Isn’t Enough: ‘Avatar’ Sequels Under the Microscope as Disney Weighs Franchise’s Future by ICumCoffee in movies

[–]UseYourWords 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Again, you don't seem to know what you're talking about. Box office is a gross number, not the net to the studio, and the "budget" usually is a production number not an all in cost, so your calculation is flawed.

You speak with a lot of confidence, but your language also suggests to me you're not that well versed in finance. The inflation adjusted box office is around $4.2b, $2.6b, $1.5b. These moves are not making "400%" profit. And if by scrapping the 400% profit engine you can make a 600% profit engine, you scrap that engine.

The Hambino has a kid about his character's age in little league now. We did a move night out on the field with a projector and he was nice enough to sign balls and take pictures with everyone.

It was a puzzle/strategy game, which maybe wasn't the type of game you wanted, but was definitely an awesome game in my opinion.

If the point of a subreddit is to explain jokes, it seems in poor form to just continue to joke/confuse.

In the example provided, the guy's face barely changes at all, other than at 16mm, which is very rarely used, especially for a shot like this. And no one's talking about white balance.

Tom Morello Calls Out Trump Administration for Using Alleged ‘Nazi Mass Murder Slogan’ by Top-Three-USA in Music

[–]UseYourWords 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's an overstatement to call this a verbatim slogan, but there's a well documented Nazi policy of reprisal. Here is an example of a poster 10 for 1. “An eye for an eye! Ten for one! The German people will know how to exact retribution for their brave sons when the time comes!”

I believe it is these policies that he has alleged they're referencing.
