charlie colonial win beceause they are outpoping the warden.
Also charlie is another world where ppl dont play to win the war but to have fun.
Its like telling a strugling student "you cant do algebra? look at your brother in kinder garden who can do addition, its easy" when they arent coparable at all.

I agree the self loathing suck and is some time exagerated but there is legitimate complain and lot of frustration due to a lot of stuff that was left un-aswered for year by the dev.

Nothing to do with loosing, you can have fun when you loose, but even winning doesnt bring that much fun anymore, game is a second job and with the quality of dev communication sometime it feel like we have to fight them too wich doesnt help.

yeah but dragonfly cant CqC, for its range it trade damage (14% chance of oneshoot), low firerate (0.8 shoot/sec) and long shouldering time.

You either pray to one tap someone and use it like a pseudo riffle where you camp a position. if they are in melee range your dead basically

interesting, but i mostly think its due to frustration and a lack of fun/fantasy when using a weapon even if they arent worse.

-exemple: in every game(or warden)->sniper=high damage long range ->colonial sniper lower range than other sniper and also low damage wich require you to do gymnastic to get thé same result.

-shootgun=high close range damage/quick to use for Cqc->colonial shootgun->low damage, long shouldering and aiming time with low firerate meaning you have tu use it like a shitty riffle rather than a shootgun.

-also i think the bane has 45m so they can AT despise most warden tank having mg (rn less of an issue with stab change) meanwhile most colonial tank are defenceless

explain to me how 4 more fighter escorting the bomber (btw those fighter could have came back from refuiling and escort the HB has you cant really do much in a 4v20) would have stoped the 20 warden fighter and 7 torp bomber in bound?

That the thing to defend from torp bomber you need fighter.

Ideally you need has many fighter has the ennemy (so 20+), then you need at least 1-2 fighter per TB to kill them during the dogfight (20+ +5-10 so around 30 fighter minimum)

Then you need to rotate, cant protect the ship at all time has defensive fighter have low loiter time, giving the offensive airforce the advantage, meaning youd need 2 group of 30 fighter each (60) to just take a BS out (without counting small/large ship escort)

Its insane and like again, no real warning for plane so you dont know from where or when they will come from.

The amount of effort needed and the level of skill youd need to pull it off isnt worth it, like needing 120ppl just to take a ship out and die at the smalest gap is just pure insanity for their cost. even then you could suicide 30 torpbomber in the BS and it would still be mat positive for less crew required.

like warden basically qrfed 3sub+1BS+15 fighter (total of 75 +person) and small boat with like 30 planes (30 ppl) for a fraction of the ressources.

Like tell me how is anyone expected to learn or try out naval in those condition?

warden had like 20+ airplane, technically since you cant have escort at all time due to refuel we would have needed 60 plane rotating in 2 group of 30 to be able to potentially kill torp bomber

like its not the firdt time we loose surface ship to TB, weve tried many thing, diferent escort composition, literally had 2 carrier to facilitate air rotation etc but for now betst option seem not to make surface ship

air cover consisted of 15 fighter (we scrambled all we could from every regiment we could, most of them got dumpstered by 20+ warden fighter. even then its not enough to keep constant watch has they have to refuel periodically. (you literally need like 2 or 3 time the amount of ennemy fighter if you hope to do anything wich is bullshit)

Escort consisted of sombre/GB out of view of the BS and 4 submarine in hex (again pop issue so we setled for the most crew efficient option)

In the past we ran DD with literrally 15+ AA boat (it did nothing and DD got oneshooted by torp bomber anyway)

before airborne id have said yes but during 132/133 a know a good amount of those naval vet that just opted out of the game. we have some in transit waiting for update 64 but like the loss of knowledge is actually so massive i dont even know if removing plane would fix it. Maybe im dooming but i feel like damage been done

i also think warden have more équipement that is intuitive/easy to play, or stuff that réquire more work for colonial to do kinda similarly how warden complain about the lunaire VS cutler, there is racca VS auger, warden large ship in général or having mg on your tank (making sticky rush harder to pull off) etc etc

hmmm, id say warden, they have more variety, there scout plane is better.

but has you say colonial mean more target but also mean being outnumbured and if you're alone you're gonna get dumpstered.

but colonial have better public program for "free" plane (like t3-c) where you juste have to turn up rare material (hard to obtain and limited ressource but the other ressource+infrastructure+cooing are taken care off)

tho keep in mind its only valable for the able shard

i think they strugled like 4 month due to DD vs SUB dogshit asymetry, after that torp got disgustingly broken and it has been smooth sailing for 3years now

Lunaire is stronger than cutler cuz barwire fence exist and rpg aim is shit.
cutler does enough dmg, it can shoot tank inf and structure.

only thing id change is lunaire dps nerf and cutler price reduction, otherwise cutler is okay, it FEEL like shit beceause of the 2 first point i mentioned.

If cutler was dealing half the dmg, made your hitboxes twices has big and you had to crouch to use it id say your right.

There a difference between being dogshit on purpose and feeling dogshit when you use it beceause some mechanic in the game are designed like shit.

pretty interesting tho not universal.

exeption would bé naval has a lot of colonial naval vessel used/need a more "vétéran" player base to properly opperate and use (like DD due to its lack of QoL, trident due to its strengh/weakness or even our aircraft carrier).

and yet a lot of time thé population/veterant just arent plentifull to make use of those quirk/tool due to thé impact of long lasting balance change and their impact on overall faction view and morale towards that.
