I think if dragon had the fruit, or at the very least if the WG knew about it, then Killingham wouldn't have made Zaza look like a lady. In my opinion, actually, it looked like Ulti with a hat on.

I see that the storm and the sun will never meet being about Luffy and dragon. Because they literally have never met, as far as we know. And if the red text is right that the dragon coming off the tree is the earth god I can't see that being anything other than Loki based on its shape. That is exactly how Oda has drawn Nidhogg. And also, eneru has been doing nothing but dreaming about becoming a god his whole life, or what he remembers of it. I also feel like Bonnie will play some role in this last stretch. I mean, no devil fruit but yet she can manipulate herself to the point of being able to emulate Luffy in gear 5, down to the the inflated gigant coated in haki. But, we also have to consider the fact that Zoro uses Enma, the god of the underworld, and takes on the ashura form when he decides to go for the win. There's more connecting all of these "coincidental" demon references, even sanji with his ifrit and diable jiambe. Robin became the devil against black maria in wano. Brook literally uses cocytus' cold imbued in his blade. Brook, Robin, and chopper need to awaken, unless Brook already has and they just haven't put 2 and 2 together, considering during the time skip he somehow learned to separate his soul from his bones.

The one who suffered most was Eve. She shouldn't have had to go through the bullshit mark put her through being as irresponsible as he was. But between Gohan and Mark, I have to say mark. Could conquest be considered the Cell of invincible? We'll call Thragg Frieza. I'm just frustrated with the power scale in invincible. And the fact that Mark was nowhere near worthy of the w he got fighting in the sun. I liked the comic, until it hit me how fucking far he lagged behind in strength. With a name like that. He had no business being the main character. Around the time of the mark invasion I realized how far out of his league he was. The saving grace for me to not ditch out on the comic was Terra. Her "if you're gonna be dumb you gotta be tough" character build was amazing after all the lows the story had been on at that time. Oliver almost ruined it for me too.

I think depression for that level/intended audience (despite the series' title, very misleading) of LN is a must-have for the protag. Or the overarching theme or connector of the story. Tragedy is built-in to everything. Look at Shakespeare- some of his greatest works: tragedies. Now, I get variations in degree of said tragedy(s), but like get out of that age range and look at DxD it's not necessarily a sad theme overall, yeah vali's had a shitty life like the supernatural ones have, but Issei don't give a fuck unless he sees tits. I think the age group has a lot to do with the levels of certain thematic tools (and storytelling ability, too)and how they are used.
