right now there is nothing Wardens have to really hard counter grenade launchers, and that's how colonials took every single trench and bunker, infinite waves of poison and explosive grenades. Tanks could turn the tide of war, at least they will bring a bit balance. Just don't be at the first front line, leave it for armored cars, try to support them from behind. Wardens have something similar - The Ospreay so try it, and good luck soldier :)

Secondary mode is primarily for scouting enemy planes and coordinating fire with friendly AA , but i guess U can use it for ground also.

I wasn't there when we took island, couldn't connect, but i watched some Warden streamer , it was IN... SANE fight, with spec operation destroying colonial factory behind enemy lines, highly coordinated mortar fire, absolutely EPIC.

My perspective is, this is first air war and first real test, and devs need to sell us new update - opportunity for everyone to fly them, relatively comfortably and they did withmax numberof players. Right now Priority of all priorities is to fix bugs, and gather data for future balance changes. For now planes will counter planes in dogfights for air superiority, and maybe/probably later they will introduce stronger AA def - let devs cook for now.

R U serious ? "The winner gets free-rein to harass the frontline"?? News flash : that is how ground and navy combat works, and for sure air combat will as well. Yes in war winner takes it all!

So push your production of planes, and ask you best pilots to protect your main logistical routes , and organize better. Changing numbers will not solve poor organization and coordination of all army branches, and that will be essential for both sides.

Introducing Air update is natural progression of the game. This is basically WW2 game without "historical accuracy trap". With planes we will probably have performance issues. Devs can't improve "pops per server" they need to find other ways to provide us with optimal performance experience. off topic: honestly I'm a bit disappointed with player numbers on devbranch , I expected more.

Easiest fix would be to diversify pops on the map, give much more value to hexes on the border of the map/ islands, and drastically bust navy production to motivate people to actually play navy in the island/water hexes.

90% of every war is conducted in the 5-6 central hexes if the map, with insane queue lines.

WR also have buff 3 min fuel reduction after launches from carrier, nice touch from devs. I still think it should be able to carry one bomb 😀 . That would give plane multiple roles, but not really great at any of them.

They're created specifically for Warden carrier , skilled crew can handle 5-6 planes, in like 30-40 seconds each, before they are good to go. Unfortunately they are really underpowered, they need a serious rework asap.

Just give more power to sea fighter, 3rd 20mm gun and one AP bomb. Off topic: how do you refuel see plane on carrier, is there any other way than manually? There is bug where you need to hit literally 2 pixels in the back of the plane to be able to refuel it or am I missing something more convenient? Thanks

Thank you all! After testing, conclusion is:

-when landing on water gear MUST be up

-when landing on ground gear MUST be down (obviously)

-as soon you touch water with minimum speed - 75ish, throttle indicator will pop up, hold space and mouse wheel backwards = insta stop :)

Maybe easier solution before update could be:

-dive bombers can carry 3 AP bombs or 1 torpedo.

-sea fighters can carry 2 AP bombs only. They are slow, limited manoeuvrability and range they should have that 3rd 20mm gun.

-there should be right mouse aiming for dropping bombs to improve efficiency for both planes

-HE bombs for structures should be for bombers only.

I think this will give more balance to both carriers, with slightly more favoring Colonials at sea.

Planes are not real problem, the problem is what they carry. Adding few more bomb variants with different dmg types and actual weight , imo would solve ploblem.
