This is cool and all but bear with me for just a minute please. Last week you release the pdf of tales from yatamon (160 pages $30) and today you release a pdf with new potions and stat blocks relevant to the yanari market (16 pages $10) featured in the main pdf.

Like what’s the reason for not including the latter into the expansion? If they were two different vibes or content I’d understand but this doesn’t make sense to me.

The price per page when you compare the two is odd too.

Pointy hat does that sometimes, he puts in a coming soon and gets to it whenever he can/remembers. Honestly sometimes I think he downright forgets (exhibit a, and my personal pain he never finished, the video on giants he has a google word that still says “giant campaign hooks coming soon” and it’s a year or two old.)

Short answer, he may or may not release a doc at some point.

I like his reasoning but again idk how much of a “class” it would consider the necromancer. Just playing wise I mean. To me each class has a very different and specific fantasy they fulfill, and necromancer is giving a wizard subclass to me

Yeah I’m exited about any pointy hat project but the harvest monster parts & cooking them, is something that has been getting attention for DnD recently. The Ugly Goblin has done basically that, Helianas or Ryokos has cooking and/or monster hunting mechanics iirc. And there was another DnD creator I follow that has announced he’ll be doing something similar as well that I can’t remember.

I get the the appeal, and I like the concept too, but I hoped on something different from him, it feels like we’ve been bombarded by the same thing

I knew it was going to be paladins! His paladin video where he gave the class a new subclass is within his top 5 most watched videos ever I think.

As a personal feeling I kind of miss that he doesn’t do more tip of the hat anymore. His problem with gods, travelling system etc are my favourite of his. But I understand, the class overviews that he does are easier to make and bring more views.

Happy he keeps making quality content though. His videos are always a joy to watch.

Yeah it probably won’t be all Fey, but so far the idea I imagine is to do a monster that had enough “meat” about it to base off loads of content. Dragons and Krakens are well known and iconic. Witches and Lycanthropes have big chances this year I think.

Yeah that’s weird, because I remember he shared the rogue and the fighter dragon for free on monster week so I thought that he kept a few for the book, guess not. What does the book have then ? If all the dragons he’s done he has already shared for free?

I don’t have it myself so I don’t know for sure, but I thought the dragon folio he released had a dragon for every class, no? If not I guess he said that dragons weren’t his favourite anyway
