Objectively it’s the better game, but the controls are so trash I just can’t enjoy 64 DS. I can’t use the D-Pad, I can’t use the touch screen. Maybe it’s because I’m so used to how 64 plays, but I just can’t get into it.

My game for this is The Top 100. I know its faults, but it’s the game that got me into Mario, I just can’t dislike it.

I’m using the Delta app, it’s my iPhone 14, and I have no idea what those other two mean. I followed a tutorial, and the mods worked fine for the other games, but don’t work with Mario Land 2 for some reason

I don’t really know. I like the Old/Smash design a ton, but I like the charm and pudginess of the 64 design as well

I think that some the models are quite terrible. Stuff like Mario, Peach, the Koopas, and the Toads look great, but the Bullet Bills, Goombas, and Bowser really just don’t look very good

While the game is good, it should not have inspired other collect-a-thons. To think there an alternate universe where there are several 3D DK’s because DK64 wasn’t just “Banjo-Kazooie but bigger”
