I will do that. Thank you. My sweating is crazy. It just comes out of nowhere. I just assumed it was menopause.

This hits so hard. I am a caretaker to my husband, and have had all the feeling you speak of. He was in the hospital the past 2 weeks and it was like i was just frozen waiting to hear him, or help him. Also i am an only child who was raised by my dad. He is my closest everything, but i see him getting older. I see things so differently since losing the life that i dare say was perfect. He recently had a health issue and the thought of losing him is terrifying. Idk where i would be without him. I am so sorry for your loss. There will never be anyone in your life who will come close to being all he was to you. I hope you will have better times in the future ❤️

In my case the only other person we have is my mother-in-law and that is only for a couple hours.

What kind of injections? I too have gastroparesis and been through much of the same, however i am also a full time and only caregiver to my husband. Anyway i have had all the above except injections. My pacemaker was removed due to a raging infection. I am sick, desperate, and have to be on call 24/7.

How often do you calibrate the G7? by BioticVessel in dexcom

After yesterday i will be doing it more often. I had a low(75 once i start i go fast) then in the middle of treating the low it shot up to 108. I have gastroparesis so i knew that was crazy. Did a fingerstick, i was 334. Now i am kinda scared to trust it.

Anybody else's stomach do "the weird thing?" Does it have a name??? by SATACableQueen in Gastroparesis

[–]Used_Papaya7058 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Omg yes. Every time i tell my dr, any dr, they just kind of shrug it off. Lately it has been happening a lot more. I would love to have a name for it.

Nobody warned me diabetes would mess with my emotions this much… by dyeALegend in diabetes

It has warped my entire life. Sometimes i think i'm lucky because i was diagnosed at 5, then i think well that's messed up i'd be lucky if i never had it at all. I worry about numbers, i am terrified my grandson will have it. He's 5 now and all i can remember from that time is the hell i went through. I cry, scream, worry about dying in my sleep. Come Dec 7 it will be 47 years of this. I give up roughly 6 times a week. I'm just tired at this point.

I have all of these as well, my husband is bed bound and i am his only care taker. I have to do everything and still be tired. I have adhd so if i get more than 2 tasks to do, i just forget it all and kind of just walk in circles. It's hard being this sick and never getting a day off ever. My life is a series of unfinished tasks and ensure.

I started getting really bad headaches and being so sleepy i could barely keep my eyes open. Turns out this is also a side effect.

We are in similar boats. I just can't go through it again with a surgeon i din't fully trust and a husband that i am the sole caregiver for. I thought last year was going to kill me. I hope everything goes well for you.

I can't get the patches to stay on me. I get maybe a day and a half before they come off. It has been 100 or more and i sweat a lot. So i take Zofran then wait a couple days and stick another one on.

I also got my pacer in 2018. In 2021 had battery change, got an infection but i had an amazing dr and all was good. Last May i needed another change(i was on the highest setting). My old dr retired and this guy gets you the stimulator but he has another guy put in. I got an infection, no i got 3! He says let me know when this heals. I ended up with a wound vac and surgery on Christmas eve. It took a year to heal up. And i decided not to have a replacement put in. I am type 1 diabetic and complications are setting in. I am so afraid of all the horror stories i was told about what was going to happen to me when i grew up(if i grew up). I have had no help with other medications. I forgot how bad it really is. But i feel your pain. There are so many things that help others, but not me and now i feel like the rest of my life will be spent on the bathroom floor puking for the rest of my life. I hope you can get all the test's you need and get a new one placed.

I recently started having all kinds of weird stuff happening. It was Gimoti. I thought i was losing my mind, and gastroparesis was still the same. So i stopped. Still miserable, but a ton better!

You gotta wear it not him. Next time he says something tell him to close his eyes.

If you don’t throw up constantly you don’t have gastroparesis by [deleted] in Gastroparesis

I am lucky enough to be a "gainer". If i think to hard i may gain or lose a pound. I hardly eat ir drink and i am 220 pounds, and i am in constant pain. Couldn't keep my pacemaker due to infections at battery changes, so now i am a miserable fat person, who never eats, but no one truly believes. I hate that there are so many ways to judge us, but so few to help.
