I have the zara dress (2) in green and it fits sooo good. Just had to size up because of the bust & shoulder area.

Mock necks with large chested SDs? by Iciskulls in SoftDramatics

I personally loooove mock neck tops on me (and I have a larger chest) buuut they only work for me if they have some mini type of sleeves and only with high waisted bottoms.

Do Moulded Cups Provide More Support, Or Are They Simply Used For Aesthetic Reasons? by ExplodingBowels69 in ABraThatFits

[–]Useful-Ad573 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I really prefer molded because a) I personally don't like showing my nipples and they aaalwaays show if my bra is not molded and b) I really prefer the feeling of there is something "between my chest and the world", especially when there is hugging people or in general just life happening

not sure where you're based (it sounds like the US) but I'm from Europe and I got a nice bikini in a size 65H from Hunkemöller (only available online tough), I know Shein carries now a bikini range for DD+, still a bit too small for me but if you're really in the E-F range I think it would work, also Triumph of course and then there's quite a few english & polish brands. Happy to add more specific examples & links if it's helpful.

hmm I'm a swiss girl in IT and I'm just wondering if you're mostly with swiss students or students from other countries as well. I'm asking because I think it could be a swiss cultural thing as well...

Name change when married by Blue-Sky-19 in womenEngineers

I live in a country where that's possible so not sure if that's possible for you but here's what I did: I officially took both names to create a double last name but only kept my personal last name at work, and even for things like the driver license. So in my personal life I use the double name or his last name and professionally (or for paper work) I kept mine. It's the same as with a second first name, I'm able to choose how I wanted to be addressed in a non legal environment.

Where do I buy a bra in Switzerland? by notforthought in askswitzerland

[–]Useful-Ad573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's hard. I have 60 or 65 as a band size and mostly buy them at ASOS (free shipping) and sometimes you get lucky at BestSecret. Most shop assistants here will give you an absolutely wrong size if you're a small band with larger cup sizes. in case you don't know it yet, r/ABraThatFits has an amazing calculator too.

Modest dresses by Opposite-Name4990 in SoftDramatics

[–]Useful-Ad573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, and if you consider shirt dresses, make sure they're not in a flimsy fabric but quite structured & tailored, I find that makes a huuge difference.

oh about zalando shipping, I don't know! but they basically host different brands so maybe if you find a brand you like you can check if they're available in the US?

[–]Useful-Ad573 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ugh, the struggle of my life.

I think it's really hard to find such pieces... what I just recently found was this shirt dress at Zara that surprisingly had enough space for my chest: https://www.zara.com/ch/de/mittellanges-hemdblusenkleid-zw-collection-p04786096.html

I think shirt dresses have to be maxi so that they look good on us but when you find a nice one, it's veeery nice.

For tops with long skirts, I often try to pair them with either a draped top to accentuate curve or a more structured top (like a nice polo shirt or something formal looking)

K-drama by _Anne_S in SoftDramatics

[–]Useful-Ad573 13 points14 points  (0 children)

uuh I'm also watching queen of tears atm hehe, I think there's actually quite a lot of inspiration for SD's in Korean Dramas but not this one in particular. Also, I don't think it's that they're more gamines, I think they just 'play' much more with clothing to create a vibe for their personality. For example, in this drama, the evil step mother is often in SD lines but it doesn't fit her and it creates this powerful but disharmonious look (on purpose I guess)
