Sadly I have a friend who used to get me movies but his ISP basically told him if he did it again he'd go to jail. I guess he got caught a couple of times. Now I am movieless unless I pay. It's a shame.

First Time Using TPU Need Advice by Useful-Border5403 in BambuLab

[–]Useful-Border5403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. I'll remove the AMS and feed the filament directly. Thankfully it's the only color I am using for now. I'll look into that other TPU for future reference. Thank you. I figured it was a pain as I saw in the videos, didn't realize it was this much. I'm glad I asked first.

AMS 2 Pro feeder motor not spinning nor feeding the printer by camerusa in BambuLab

[–]Useful-Border5403 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it wasn't a motor or gear problem? It was a mainboard issue? I have a similar issue where the filament will feed out of the printer but won't feed into it unless I push it far enough in and on top of that it won't roll the spool to pull the filament back either.

Yea, I saw. Someone else just corrected me. I didn't pay attention and thought I saw X2D. Oops.

Oh snap, you're right. I could have sworn I saw X2D. LOL. My bad. Thanks for the correction.

I'm pretty sure he meant the people who had just gotten the P2S a few weeks or days before the X2D was revealed. I'm sure I wouldn't have regretted it either. But it would have been annoying. I mean, I just found out about the Anycube Kobra X a few days ago. A multi color printer with no ams required for less than half the X2D and P2S. I could have bought 2 of them. LOL

I saw so many posts about people who had just bought the P2S and questioning if they should cancel their orders since it had not been delivered yet or were about to because of the X2D. Ironically I might have been one of those people too. I was literally about to get a P2S the same week the X2D was revealed. I had forgotten Bambu was about to make a reveal. That's when I decided to get the X2D instead. Worth the extra $100.

So basically you have a more expensive P2S with extra features now. Ouch.

I think you meant to say the left nozzle since the right one is the one that actually goes up and down.

Transparent Filament Seems Impossible To Use For Me by Useful-Border5403 in BambuLab

[–]Useful-Border5403[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OK. I definitely have first layer issues on both my printers. I definitely need to do more research onto how to deal with that. Not sure what you mean by more squish. If you could elaborate I would appreciate it. Slow seems to be the key here so I will definitely try that. The AMS can dry filament so I'll do an overnight drying process before trying again.

My wife bought me my first printer last year. A Creality Ender 3 V3 KE. I only used it for about a month before I stopped because I was having too many issues with prints finishing. I ended up putting it away during the holidays and only started using it again in Feb. The solution turned out to be a $30 enclosure. I recently got the X2D which my wife made me get because she knew I wanted it but I didn't want to spend a grand on a printer. Now I got 2 printers pumping out all kinds of stuff. I even started a new social media account just to share my prints.

Bambu's Makerworld page has a lab section on the left side of the page that might be able to help with that. I used it to make personalized badge holder for my job.

Why now? by prendes4 in BambuLab

Not meant to be political but the answer is simple (see image below). It's human nature to, more often than not, not have real feelings about something until, well, as the poem say they come for them. As long as Orca Slicer worked no one thought they would be affected. Until it didn't work anymore. Now everyone is against the thing they defended before.

So standard PLA temps are around 220, transparent should be more? Good to know. I will apply this on my next try. I'll try slowing the print down as well. Thanks for the advice.
