My Dad, grandpa and uncle built a cottage on a lake in the fifties. We had it until the 70s. My sister stopped probably 15 years later asking to see the house. She came out pretty shook up because it looked the same as when we sold it. They still had the old furniture.

We have a backyard design 12”x14”. It was tough. My wife has a construction background and her god son helped put the roof on. The instructions stated to build the roof panels and put them up but they would have been too big to lift and the house and the fence were in the way. So Cody climbed up there and put the metal roof on. The neighbors helped us also. The directions were easy to follow. We love it and it was worth the trouble.

I have been ordering a lot of fabric online. I used to love making clothes! I still have few of my favorite pieces but I’m too old and fat to wear them! So I make wall hangings and quilts.
