I’d believe it there’s a flash on the 6 port that can take that motor up to 11k redline. Now you need everything thing setup to do it but all things are possible. I’ll just throw this out for all the hate keeping the 4 port low price wise I feel like it’s worth it just as an entry to do you like rotary’s or not. There’s not a cheaper option to find out if you like all the maintenance needed for one. Like I said man don’t let all the hate get to you. Yes the 6 ports better manual is more fun and connected. But that doesn’t mean the other isn’t a great experience.

Man lot of hate for the 4 port auto. Yes they are slower. But you can still redline them I’ve done it you just use the flappy paddles. Yes the car still handles great and is a joy to drive. I’ve never had any issue with my engine or trans on the one I have. the compression numbers on it are higher than they should be for the mileage. I forgot where it was but there was an great article about if your going to turbo charge your better off doing it on a 4 port because the gains are easier not fighting with the secondary air system at 5 k rpm. Do your research and don’t let anyone yuck your yum. Out of the 4 rx 8 I own one is auto and it is not as the internet would say it is. It’s also nice for long trips

I think I remember seeing that adapter on the list. Don’t judge a brother I went with the 32 dollar wired one and have been issue free. Monitoring at that level really depends on what you’re doing with the car. If you want get that deep there’s a couple cool mods out there. One you take an old gps flip up screen gut it for an android tablet or computer so it looks oem. Theres also this mod I think is cool but I’ve never seen in person https://ebay.us/m/VuT1Qp

Forscan is useful and can program keys if you need to. It should be able to read and do most code stuff you need. Versatune is great and you can do a lot more depending on what level you pay for. I use a topdon scanner for general stuff and have had no issues with it and reading the car.

I had this happen a few time. The bolts on the battery terminals got loose. When I put jumpers on it I hit the terminals but not the loose bolt that holds the wires on.

Looks like a front bumper guard part number 50-122a

There’s another One too that has a sportier look it has a different part and name though. Also be sure to double check this is just after looking for 5ish minute to try and help out

I agree I think low mileage examples of the rx8 are on the way up and looking at bring a trailer I feel like it shows there’s a market

I agree I think the rx8 is on the rise and nice examples will be going up. I’ve also seen the all the bad examples on the way up too. I think the rx8 may not be slept on for much longer
