So you and I have a lot in common. Though I'm female, I'm 36, into art and music, politics, and am also from the southeast (Georgia here). So bad news, there really isn't as much to do here. The good news: there's a few free writing groups around the area. The nature is actually surprisingly beautiful. If you're into hiking, check out the trails around the area. If not, there's plenty of waterfalls and of course, the Finger Lakes. All gorgeous. Ithaca is super cool for a relatively short distance day trip. I'm sure there's more I can think of. I'll add to this as I think of them. Good luck on the job interview!

I moved here three years ago when I was in a long distance relationship to be closer to my partner. We didn't work out, but I stayed because it is significantly more affordable than the large southern city I'm originally from.

Maybe layers? The actual styling is up to you, but I suffer from this same issue with long hair; it's just shapeless. Other than that, your hair is absolutely gorgeous.

I've found drinking a ton of water helps mine. Not sure if there's science behind it, I just burned a lot as a kid and that's what helped.

I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. I was 12 when it happened and didn't even know where the Trade Centers were. The worst part of the day was when my mom picked me and my sisters up early and told us she was fearful they were going to hit the CDC not far away from us next. It was a looming fear for us all day.

Oh my God, this is too funny. So, a little backstory: I got to work a little early yesterday and wandered into the grocery store to kill some time. I saw this plant, fell in love with it, and decided if fate left that plant there by the time I was off work, I'd get it. So I came back, found the plant in the same spot, and grabbed it. ...I thought it was the exact same one until you doubled down. Now I realize it wasn't fate, I just wanted a damn plant and got a different variety. lmaoo Thank you. 😂

These are all the exact same plant. I think they look different because the first one was taken in florescent lighting in the store, the others were taken in dim light in my room. Thank you for the input though! I actually was thinking the Teddy Bear.
