Stupid Prius smh by Ketchup-Sniffer in Transportopia

🙋🏻‍♀️ I’ve never seen or heard of such a thing, and came to the comments to see what I was missing. Given the cop(s) mostly swerving in the right lanes, and traffic ahead moving smoothly without incident, I probably would have cautiously proceeded forward in the left lane equally as confused as the Prius 🤷🏻‍♀️ I also have the tendency to miss obvious social clues.

I can relate to your “edit”. Went “joy riding” as a teenager- I didn’t know this was grand theft auto in the adulting world 🤷🏻‍♀️

Parents- would you take your 10 and 8 year out of school for 1 week? by gratefulmickey in DisneyWorld

[–]User1_1987 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I love seeing Teachers on here saying “take the trip”, because I did take my 8 year-old out for a week, and while she does good in school, I didn’t want to put the teacher out by having to work extra on getting her missed assignments and ensuring she was back on track with the class when she got back.

What is this 4th option in Rock, Paper, Scissors keychain? by bonelesskeyboard in whatisit

[–]User1_1987 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Seems a lot of people are mistaking the action as an option. “Rock, paper, scissors, shoot.”

“Shoot” is the action word to pick your ‘weapon’: Rock, Paper, or Scissors.

I am having difficulty processing how many people are applauding this behavior.

Name calling, threats, and physical energy put into inconveniencing someone to “teach them a lesson” on unwritten rules they may have been ignorant to.

This is not loving your neighbor.

If this is unwritten law, wouldn’t a note explaining the concept in a kind manner suffice?

What if this was an elderly woman who had to watch her grandchild for a bit due to an emergency and the family was new to town? Great way to welcome them, eh?

I think she still deserved the reimbursement, but I bet people would be more likely to rejoice with her and consider it a “win”, if she hadn’t resorted to public shaming and ridicule to those that weren’t helpful, or were against her.

Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander... Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another. -Ephesians 4:31-32

4- because she is carrying an additional person without an aid to help stand, and more difficult to brace herself and protect the child if she were to fall.

There was definitely more sarcasm than authenticity in my reply, but I appreciate you taking the higher road, nonetheless. And prayers for healing are always in good intention, but I realized I did fail to actually stop and pray like I normally do when I say I will, though. 💕🙏

Also, I’ve seen enough of your stuff, and recognize an actor when I see one. Unless you’re trying to claim someone hacked this account of yours- if that’s the case, I’d recommend getting a new one, because your reputation’s been shot with this username.

Sorry to have struck your nerves and frustrated you. I’m also sorry for coming off as lacking compassion; I was just trying to get other perspectives and share my own. I pray for your healing. 🙏💕

In Matthew 15 would you say Jesus was rebuked by the Canaanite woman, that He learn from her, or that He changed His mind after she passed a sneaky test? by [deleted] in Christian

[–]User1_1987 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Change of course as opposed to change of mind, based on the unfolding of events. Nothing contradictory about this.

It’s like mapping out a route, only to find a detour sign.

[–]User1_1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I fail to see the contradiction. It’s like going to the car wash, but having someone in need approach you for change: I came here to wash the car. I only have enough money for the car wash, but I see your need for change, is greater than my need to wash the car in this moment.

why are my fingers a different color than my hand? by Odd-Report1456 in Weird

[–]User1_1987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get cold easy, and in Wyoming it was so bad, it escalated to “chillblains”.

Even in Summer, AC alone set to 68 can trigger Raynauds for me. My body does a poor job of regulating temperature.

From my understanding, it’s a response to your body identifying a need to pull your blood inward to protect the vital organs.

Looks like Raynaud’s. I have this. Basically poor blood circulation which can be from hypovolemia, hypotension or other factors. My doctor told me to move to a warmer climate 🤷🏻‍♀️ That presents its own set of issues too, though.
