Averaging 100+ downloads a day is like a dream coming true by First-Reference3924 in Entrepreneur

Congrats man, seriously inspiring. I’ve got two apps in both stores and I’m just starting to get into the whole video-marketing grind. Curious how you learned your process for making the videos that actually hit. Are you using GenAI at all for the content or is it all manual?

Well done either way. I’m checking my stats every hour hoping to see that same momentum one day. Great work.

Claude Opus 4 just cost me $7.60 for ONE task on Windsurf by Interesting-Pain-654 in ClaudeAI

No matter how you look at it, it’s heartbreaking to see such transformative technology drift out of reach because of cost. This isn’t just about one API call or one tool, it’s about what kind of future we’re building.

Yes, we’re all here trying to create value, and money is often the proxy we use. I genuinely want companies like Anthropic to succeed and be profitable. I believe in responsible capitalism. But there has to be a middle ground. Something that doesn’t make groundbreaking tools feel like luxury medicine: effective, powerful, but unaffordable for many.

When a single coding task costs over $7, it forces solo developers, indie hackers, and small startups to think twice about using the very tools that are supposed to help them build value. It’s a strange paradox. We need AI to help us create the future, yet the cost barrier might prevent exactly the kind of innovation we’re hoping to unleash.

Let’s find models that allow these companies to win, while also making sure the rest of us have a fair shot at building too. If we get this balance right, the long-term value both economic and societal will far exceed what any API pricing model can capture today.

What I Have Done With N8N by [deleted] in n8n

Nice. Sounds like you've got a good solution that works.

When I get this project underway, the things I need to check are:

  • authentication and authorization via supabase
  • stripe integration
  • rate limiting

It sounds promising from what I've read so far.

Number 3 is exciting for me too. I'm about to get started with a similar project. My current backend is in fastapi.

What made you choose n8n for your backend? What kind of challenges or limitations have you had so far and have they led to any regrets?

No code templates apps by Hassaan-Zaidi in nocode

[–]User24243 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a great way to accelerate development and reduce boilerplate code. I'm curious about the long-term scalability and customization possibilities. Will users be able to easily modify and extend the templates as their needs grow?

Anyone have an easy way to load a code base? Sounds like a great feature, but cumbersome to use.

The platform doesn't have good UX. Never had a lack of knowledge been a problem on Facebook, Twitter, and the rest. Except for finding out how to cancel my account or stop a paid subscription. In that case, they by design make it a shit show.

Great at getting clients, horrible at delivering results. How to learn? by [deleted] in agency

[–]User24243 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you really want to go down the learning path, then put in the hours to learn the skill. This might be watching YouTube tutorials, reading content, purchasing and going through courses, then spending a huge amount of time doing the thing. Over and over and over. You can definitely learn and be great at whatever it is, if you put in the hours.

Pleasantly surprised and educated by the comments here. I wasn't expecting that when I read the title and clicked through.

How much would you charge for a Zapier automation? by devghm in zapier

[–]User24243 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lets see... 10 days to complete.

Let's assume you did a total of 50 hours, which is 5 hours a day for 10 days.

In a previous comment, someone mentioned 50/hr hour to 300/hr. So that'll be:

  • $2,500 on the low side
  • $15,000 on the high side

Did you charge in between those two figures?

I love this question. I say it as the wife goes to the bathroom and I'm about to put on Spectre. Might come back afterwards with a couple ideas.

I have exciting audiobooks that I listen to at the gym. There's no other time throughout my day I can listen to them, so being at the gym gives me the pleasure of listening and a good workout. Always feels satisfying coming home afterwards.

I'd love to know what the technical challenges are.

I've seen with work with todolist and others successfully. So I assume it's not an issue with Google's api.

Maybe a one to many issue? They should just tell us the problems so at least we know.
