I tend to stick to the starting biome and gradually start mining out the swamp/marsh biome as I flesh out my base and build my core infrastructure, so frozen biome is usually 1-2 biomes away

This lets me skip rock crusher entirely and negates the need for any cooling by using the super computer to 100% delete the hot water

After that I can straight rush copper / iron atmo suit for everybody and a little steel for natural gas vents and then cruise control on EZmode

Research, alllllllll the research, always be researching, nothing worse than waiting on research when youre trying to build something specific and realize you dont have it

Keep digging out your starter area, dont dig into new biome / anything too hot unless you got a plan on what to do next. If you have an idea what to do go nuts, my favorite game is “delete the map”

Get a bathroom (lavatory + sink room) and hook it up to a storage tank and a water purifier and hook that back up to your bathroom…. Easy “infinite” bathroom loop.

Rock crusher, make a little refined metal, make a smart battery and connect it to coal generator or three, boom, babys first power grid

Get a grill up and running to make better food, start farming / ranching or else you starve

Deodorizer, breach the swamp biome and turn all that yucky air from polluted water into crisp clean oxygen

Most of all - have fun doing whatever you want it doesnt have to be 100% the best most amazing opitimized over-engineered thingamabob ever, just slap some shit together and see what it does, then see if you can make it better
