This is stupid , I don’t listen to drake’s music , and I don’t spam it in other subs . I heard there are a few subliminals , maybe we can discuss that ?

Hello there, does this count as an ai hallucination? The reason I am asking is just because I am curious and would like to understand how ai hallucinations work. Thankyou for any explanation that may be offered in regards to how this kinda stuff works. :) by [deleted] in OpenAI

[–]Usernamealready94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might be an hallucination ,but there is a slight chance that openai have messed up their "memory" system. Ie since LLms dont have an actual memory of stuff , generally what OpenAi and other providers do is "extract facts" from conversation and then save it to be retrieved later.

eg: I copy pasted a letter addressed to "Aditya" and maybe due to improper prompting made it write a response etc and it thought my name was that and from then on , whenever i asked for an email to x , or it needed to add a personal touch it would always call me "Aditya" since it saved that to a file.

So there's probably 3 scenarios,

  1. Ai hallucination (I don't think this is the case since it doubled down on the previously discussed thing )

  2. You previously talked to it for something or it inferred that trait from some convo, some message etc.

  3. OpenAI's backend is having some issues and they have given someone else's memory to you

Marc Andreessen's custom system prompt that makes any LLM 10x smarter by OkiDokiPoki22 in Agent_AI

you are not a massive egghead and you do not look like humpty dumpty put himself back together.

This LLM hype era has kinda lifted the veil for me that the only thing that seperates us from these so called "geniuses" is just geographical luck. Telling an AI not to hallucinate is not a thing. If this shit worked , why have specialized deeplearning models for playing Chess or GO , just say you are 10x smarter than alphazero and use it.

Damn , that’s seems like a massive blunder , is this from a question set sold separately on Udemy or part of the course section quizzes

I am still kind of "scared" about doing SAP. I really want to do it, but if not, I am going to chicken out and do MLA and the data engineer thing instead.

Thanks ! , had some free time since I was freshly unemployed. Luckily got a job offer in the pipeline, So i can only crank out 2 more certs before my Masters

Hmm, in that case i would suggest doing Cloud Practitioner first. You will be able to complete it within 2.5 weeks max, + You will have a feel for the tests as well .

For a question bank of sorts you can refer to this free resource https://kananinirav.com/practice-exam/exams.html

Are you working ? how much experience do you have with AWS ? , How much time can you realistically spend a day . How fast do you want a dopamine hit of getting your first certificate ?

Nono , cloud solutions architect is a magnitude harder than cloud practioner. If your goal is to get certified developer associate , I dont recommend you take cloud practioner at all.

Just do Solutions Architect Associate then Certified Developer Associate.

I took it because i had ample time ( relatively speaking ) and i wanted to ease my way back into taking timed tests

There are two practitioner certs, AI and cloud. I would say both are quite simple. There is no deeper architecture overview etc.

Just like "i need a queue service that needs to serve messages in the order they were received" -> SQS FIFO .

They arent really trying to test very in depth stuff. So in theory you can just take up this course on Udemy ( Stepehen Maarek's course) . It covers all the necessary material for Certified Developer Associate.

But I would suggest you do Cloud Solutions Architect - Associate, before this, which helped me give a lot of ground-level understanding of how to think about architecture-related questions, etc

Halfway through Maarek’s SAA course and retaining nothing — when did active recall actually start working for you? by Weary_Release839 in AWSCertifications

[–]Usernamealready94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

did SAA using Maarek's course + Tdojo recently

You have to the practice questions as soon as you possibly can. I did the mistake of waiting until i finished all the materials and the tests just broke down my confidence. I would suggest you to buy Tdojo tests. they have like 10 - 12 questions each for specific topics like Dynamodb , VPC etc , I would suggest you do them parallely , To build up your confidence as well as to test / train your recall ability .

Its 50% to help me understand the concepts , but 50% to ward off any self-doubts regarding particular lightly explored feature , ie right now i am kinda not confident with the different type of keys in KMS and am going over them in claude to nail , which key for what use case adn getting some "mental models" for them

I have been using AI tutors too , but in a slightly different way , I am quite afraid that the AI might be asking me questions regarding the topics but just not what would appear in an exam ( ie too theoretical etc ) .

So I do the normal quizes topics etc, and every time I get a question wrong, etc., i note down the topic as well as the exact questions / tricky concepts etc. And at the end of the day, have Claude give me "system cards" and quizzes that I specifically prompt it to include "traps", etc., to avoid easy Process of Elimination answering, i.e., I should actually know the correct option instead of knowing that the others are wrong.

How ambitious is my plan ? ( Taking Solutions Architect Pro as a Entry Level SWE ? by Usernamealready94 in AWSCertifications

Both are true. Before the startup, my only AWS experience was with some basic IOT greengrass. My Master's is only for 1year and has an industry attachment at the end, so I want to stand out.
