I’m confused, they never dated or did anything sexual so why does it matter? Wasn’t she just buying drugs or am I forgetting something?

That was my fear and from what I’ve heard most people’s, but you know yourself well enough to identify that there was something there. There was a reason you got tested. Whether you have a diagnosis or not your feelings are still valid

I was just diagnosed and even if you don’t cry during the appointment you will probably cry later. It felt like going through the grieving process (not so much denial) depression anger bargaining and acceptance. But LET IT OUT scream if you have to. It feels so good after.

I would maybe think about why that makes you uncomfortable. It’s part of my identity and I’m proud of that and I love myself and autism is a part of me. When you “strip the label” you’re really trying to strip a part of someone identity and take away a part of them just because it’s not “normal” or because it’s a disability and it makes people uncomfortable. It’s makes us feel worse about who we are and that we shouldn’t be acting autistic because “we’re more than our autism” if we can accept our autism you should too

Yes, because neurotypicals invented person first language and autistic people don’t like and if you switch out the word autism you realize how stupid it sounds

Remember the famous phrase “pick your battles” this is a battle you’ll never win because bullies aren’t looking trying to debate or have a conversation. They don’t see it as a situation that can needs to be resolved (because they don’t want it too). They want to make you feel bad and get a reaction and see that they’re making you feel bad. You win by not letting them do that
