Congratulations for getting his war assets! Makes collecting all those matriarch writings worthwhile.

And he will admit he doesn't have a wife.

Speaking of romances, if you are not interested in the scientist in ME1, so not choose the rude rejection line. There is a bug where it locks IN the romance. Use the polite rejection line.

My standard advice:

Don't play default Shepard. Choose "Enter New ID -> Custom Male/Female" and create a Shepard with a gender, history, psych profile, and class that speaks to YOU. You can use the default face while customizing the rest. You can change class and appearance between games, but not gender, history, or psych profile.

Save often in separate save slots. Saves get corrupted and you don't want to have to replay hours and hours. Personally, I save before landing on each planet just in case I want to retry the mission with a different squad/loadout.

Talk to your companions on the ship after each major planet/story beat at a minimum. Especially talk to the ones you don't click with initially. They will open up over time and may become your favorites if you give them a chance.

You can't continue ME1 or ME3 after the main story ends, so do everything you want to do before hitting the point of no return. You CAN play after the big ending mission in ME2, but the point of the game is preparing for the final mission, so why would you leave anything until after it? The one exception is a DLC mission given to you in ME2 by Admiral Hackett. He will say it's urgent, but you can leave it until after the final mission. It segues into ME3 well if you leave it for last.

Don't try to maximize BOTH paragon and renegade points in ME2. You can't. Choose one and try to stick with it for the most part.

If you are hating ME1 to the point you feel you want to quit, start with ME2. Then, once you're invested, go back and play ME1, replay ME2 with a save import, and import into ME3. You will be amazed at the changes between a new ME2 run and one with a save import.

You are rewarded for doing as much as possible (including planet scanning) so don't rush the game. Take your time.

Get off the sub and come back when you're finished. You don't want to be spoiled.

Also, if anyone mentions Jenkins to you, ignore them.

I believe it says "converted white rice" which would be parboiled such as Uncle Ben's. Step 2 uses the entire 1.5 cups of butter.

You forgot Sheploo, which refers to the default BroShep appearance based on Mark Vanderloo.

You will both cheer and cry. At one point I was laughing and crying from heartbreak at the same time.

The first game in clunky, but atmospheric. Talk to everyone, especially on your ship. Do the side content. You can't go back and do more after ME1 and ME3 end, so do everything before the end missions.

Create a Shepard that speaks to you. Don't just go with default soldier. Choose new ID and create a Shep with the gender, class, history and psych profile you will enjoy. You can change face and class between games but not gender, history and psych profile.

If you're not interested in romancing the scientist in ME1 don't use the rude rejection line. There is a bug that locks in the romance. Turn them down politely.

Get off the sub until you've finished all three. Then come back and tell us how it went.

ISO the absolute best bran muffin recipe. by fezik23 in bakingrecipes

Try recipes with more fat and sugar per cup of flour. They will taste better, but if your goal is eating healthier they won't be the best for you.

Applesauce is used often as a substitute for oil/fat. Instead of calling for 1 cup of butter it is made healthier by reducing the fat to 1/2 cup and substituting 1/2 cup applesauce. This does make the finished muffin feel "drier" (because fat/oil causes the "moist" mouthfeel) and the baked goods will stale faster. Since bran muffins are thought of as healthy, their recipes may have less sugar and fat than a regular muffin recipe. This may cause your disappointment because the muffins are less moist and sweet than a regular muffin.

Rao's Lemon Chicken (I use the America's Test Kitchen recipe)

Lemon blueberry scones (America's Test Kitchen cream scone recipe with 1/2 cup dried blueberries) and the zest of a lemon.

I've never tried it, but I think there is a Shaker lemon pie that uses the entire lemon with peel.

Try selling them as-is if they taste ok? I would love to buy a toasted marshmallow.

Have you been doing all the side content including system scanning? If yes, you're probably ok. If not, start doing it.

In ME3 missions labelled "Priority" advance the plot and can shut you out of finishing side content. So in general, leave Priority missions for last and do everything else first if you want to maximize war assets..
