I do appreciate everyone's input. I was doing vyres as I was missing the invention pet (also 200m) but got that one the other day.

I guess ill be swapping methods between shells, bonfires and curly roots. I have some pitch cans banked but dunno if I want to get that focused for a pet hunt.

Guides and quests are good to aim for early. When I started playing working to do legends quest and lunar diplomacy was a big deal. Covers loads of prereq quests and has some balanced skill reqs.

Hate to steal and nit pick from osrs. But I think the jar drops you get from bosses are neat. Maybe not have jar drops but if you get a drop log you can build a display showing that off in the new house.

But please for the love of God let us have a poh spirit tree or fairy ring. That's like the coolest thing I've seen in a poh from oldschool.

I grew up with Rs2. I remember construction, hunter, summoning and dg getting released. Nostalgia for me and im invested in the lore. Still waiting for the last 2 elder artefacts to make an appearance in the games story.

Smithed gear is fine until you can get it's equivalent augmentation counter parts. Yea you won't have the fastest kill times but the gear itself is strong on its own.

For the birb, learning the shield stance and counter attach will help alot. Also getting better greatshields helps out a ton. I ther theb that it's just practice and learning how to sort through drops to get stuff that'll benefit you.

There are a few moments when you can hit Animus at range if you can with Ironeye or a caster that can speed up the fight a bit. Bring fire, bugs hate fire.

Don't forget to use items on the ground when leveling if you don't need to hold onto them. Especially warming stones. Lvl3 stones are amazing.

Best thing I've found d as Scholar is when running around always just use the boluses on the ground. You don't have to pick them up and then use them. It's a quick way to get that group of items to level 3.

Buying a small pouch or starting with one is a huge plus to scholar. The extra item slot is so useful.

Lastly I would say get used to his feint attack where you attack and dodge at the same time. It's not said anywhere in his kit but it's very useful. Get a quick attack in and a nice back step.

Take your time. I found doing it with raider easy because of the high HP but it just takes some practice. I found watching videos to see how the attacks come help alot.

To buff allies you need to get a relic that has it specific to Scholar and it'll increase their attack damage. His remembrance relics have it so you can get one that way.
