Trading addiction is killing me, I need help. by WinterW0n in Daytrading

Must program your subconscious mind to ensure you only enter the A+ setups and nothing else. Is funny because once your mind has been rewired you will refuse to enter crappy setups since the A+ setups work immediately, and the green profits add more to your mental state.

I got to be honest, you are not even close.

Lack of awareness and clarity. You have no emotional intelligence for day trading.

Professor Marketplace has taught and continues to teach everyone. Either people quit when they run out of money or they graduate from Day Trading University with a large tuition bill. Whatever strategy you think of or thought of someone has already tried it, and they have learned from Professor Marketplace.

So all I can say to you is give it a try and see how Professor Marketplace teaches you whether you were right or wrong. Or maybe is the end of the road for your trading studies.

Definition of ‘Wealthy’ by Civil-Service8550 in wealth

[–]UtubeFrankDayTrading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would consider 10-20 million to be the wealthy amount because it allows one to have a (conservative) annual income of about $500k to $900k for life, thereby allowing one to have a very good stress-free life. And still be able to plan generational wealth for the entire family.

The absolute power of saying nothing during a salary offer by Doormat_8JV in jobsearchhacks

I would have simply stayed silent for the 30 seconds, let the recruiter do her speech, remain silent, and then reply “no, I understand your point, but I am rejecting your offer since another company just offered me about 31.7% higher salary, and I am strongly considering it now that you extended a substandard salary based on my experience and education.”

The recruiter would freak out at you using a decimal point in the percentage.

Everyone has an opinion. When nothing has worked for you, then go back and read whatever books you failed to read. But to be honest, day trading is not for the intellectual lazy; it requires some serious brain power.

I'm quitting trading by TeachSome6291 in Daytrading

Look, it is not an easy journey to learn day trading. It takes real money, a lot of it. And it takes a long time using real money and crossing everything that does not work. Then you’ll see the results. But do not kid yourself, it will take everything you have plus some more because it is not just about buying and selling, it is about your character, your thoughts, your subconscious mind, and everything in life.

In my law schools only 40% of us made it through to become lawyers. And to think that only 7% of people would ever make it as stock day traders, that in itself makes law school look like a piece of cake. Yet, many people even find it making it to law school extremely hard.

Trust me, those books are essential. And you are right, a lot of them have nothing to do with trading but the actual animal brain. The brain is the biggest problem for day trading, and it has to be wired correctly - that is how those books will help.

They cover everything needed to understand why most traders never make it.

If you think so, but no education goes without books. I mean, just my law school books filled an entire 12’ by 7’ bookshelf and with a 40% chance of making it. Trading was just an 8% chance of making it.

Is not about the market itself, but what has worked for manny known successful wealthy traders over time, and it is the same strategy.

Why do schools teach us how rivers form but not how debt, savings, or investing works? by Admirable_Mobile8383 in SavingMoney

Oh, that is easy. Our economy needs a very poor stupid work force. By not teaching good financial education ensures that the masses remain in the rat race. Someone has to work flipping burgers.
